Got the call several times, pressed 1, to tell them to remove me off there list.
They obviously didn't remove me as i got the call again, pressed 1 and asked who i was speaking to, the guy said his name was Steven, asked what master card he was calling for, he said CIBC and TD? Anyways, kept tryign to get as much info as I could and asked what company he was calling for, he said Credit Card Services.  He then asked for my credit card number, told him I didn't have a master card to begin with, that i was going to call the business bureau of Canada, and to go f*** himself. He immediately hung up.

They pay BELL CANADA to have the " No Longer in Service Message " so that their # cannot be called back,

lol... they just called, and I gave them the info on the placeholder fake paper cards they mail you all the time along with credit card applications...  the fake card number was, I kid you not, 1234 5678 9012 3456 and he took the time to make me repeat to be sure, haha!  good luck with that, punk!

This particular number has called asking about credit card information. Who I bank with, am I happy, would I like to switch. I ask from where they are calling but they quickly change the subject and bombard me with questions about finacial services or changing institutions. Then they ask if I want to reduce the credit card rates I currently pay. The only thing is the credit card he mentions isnt mine!!!

BEWARE!!!

They same number called a few days ago as well but at that time they were asking about how to reduce my credit card interest rates.

Called a few days before that...no one on the line.

Called again about how to stop debt collectors.

They use one number after another, all managed by TELUS, why Telus?

Got a call from 604-298-3708 for credit card info.  When I reached someone, I told them I was on the "do not call" list so they hung up.  Have reported them to the Do Not Call Registry.  Suggest others do too.

ALL are Scam Calls - a legit company displays its name, or will leave a message AND they respect the Do Not Call Lists.  The idea that scammers get the lists and call is a fallacy.  Any 'win a prize/survey/reduce rates/etc.etc.' that does not mention a REAL company name are fraudsters and part of organized crime.

They use a computer and VoIP internet connection, and a robo-dialer, and dial numbers in sequence.  They do not know you; and do not CARE about Registries.  Once you answer or press ANY buttons, it flags your number as 'valid' - you get more calls and they share/sell that data to others.

Check the RCMP Top Scams website - these are ALL scams to get your personal data and credit info or income level - to create Fake IDs in your name and commit more fraud!  Don't answer, and just hang up.

Report the number with date & time of call, and type of scam, to your anti-fraud unit.  If you want to help, do that and write your elected official asking them to fund against telecommunications fraud.  Remember it takes time and international government cooperation to gather the evidence (or change laws) to shut these b.....ds down and prosecute them.  Be part of the Solution!

I got a call from this number today while I was out.  I tried to call it back today and it said the number was no longer in service. Please find these crooks, I'm so sick of them hacking into phone lines and trying to scam harmless and innocent citizens. Get these people behind bars!!!!!

I answered without looking at the call display, otherwise, straight to voice mail screening, I asked the person not to call this number again since it's currently being used for a covert municipal level project and any caller to this number could be called into court at some point as a possible witness or cooperator. Then I suggested he stop selling weed and get a real job rather than this "front" BS job he has in order to satisfy the CRA

These people are so pathetic. Am sick and tired of getting calls, for this kind of BS. On a national holiday to boot. When we're suppose to be relaxing with family and friends. Imagine that? They can't even reply to us, when we say we have no interest in their BS. Instead they hang up. I would love to call them back at "their house" when its convient for me!! So much for the National Do Not Call List??

Just got yet another call from 604 298 3708 auto message "this is an important message from your credit card company". So annoying so much for the do not call list!
I called the number and it says not in service it must be out bound calls only.

By requesting the telemarketing fraud to remove your number, you confirmed your number as live and will be repeatedly called from by this fraud in the future.

Tell the truth when you hit *57 the recording from BELL indicates that the LAST CALL to your # has been traced , and if YOU wish to take ACTION it is up to YOU to contact your LOCAL POLICE.

Again BELL wants you to do the WORK they should be doing for THEIR customers.

I am being solicited to my direct business line from 604-298-3708 and the company refuses to take me off there list. I spoke to my provider Bell in technical support and told them I was on the do not call list. He told me hang up and immediately pick up again and hit *57. the number will automatically be investigated for fraudulent calls. Hope this helps.

I gave the nice sounding foreign lady all the information that she asked for , hopefully they will stop calling me.

Phone scam - recorded message says it's your second and final notice to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to learn more - I did, operator answered, I told her to remove our number from their call list as we are on the do not call registry (for all the good that did us!) . She hung up.

Just got a scam call from this number with the following message: "This is your second and final notice to lower your credit card interest rate and payments. Press 1 now to sign up the terms, conditions, and associated changes before the next billing cycle. Again, this is your final notice, as it relates to the financial stimulus. So press 1 now to take advantage of this today."

Just got a call from this number. Had the mood on me so pressed one, said I was really, really excited to talk to them, as I had every credit card going and I needed some more credit as I couldn't use my cards anymore, and please could they help me. Caller was really dumb because it took a little while before they realized I was playing them and before I got the "click prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" of the phone being hung up.

I have been getting calls from this number for over a year. I have talked to them and told them I am not the person they have on record and to take my number off there calling list. I called the phone company and they told me that it is from an off shore line, which is directed to 604-298-3708 and it can not be blocked as it comes thru internet lines. I reported them to RCMP. These callers will not accept that I do not have credit cards. That is when they get really rude and start swearing at me. I am really getting tired of these stupid calls.
