Calling saying my card was deactivated when i dont even have an account with the bank

The phone number now has a message from the FTC stating the phone number was involved in a scam and has been disconnected.

called from 206-738 telling me to call 604 357 3033 to re activate my TVA credit union acount.  I have not used it in years so I came to this site without calling that number.  I am on hold with the bank at this time.  Be careful!

Has anyone called either of these numbers to report the situation?

I just called at 2:05 pm and the number now says "Hello - Welcome to Bridgewater Credit Union Security Department.  To activate your card, please press 1."  They just seem to be rotating who they are every few hours or day.  What a scam.

I received a call stating that my account was comprimised at Bridgewater Credit Union. My friend received the same call minutes before and had called me to warn me of the scam. I called the bank and notified them.

I received a recorded message on my cell phone from "Bridgewater Credit Union", claiming that my card had been canceled. The message also asked me to call Security at 604-357-3033. This must be a scam because I have never heard of Bridgewater Credit Union.

I received the same exact call at 6:23pm.  

The call said it was the  BANK OF LANCASTER COUNTY and SAID MY CREDIT CARD WAS SUSPENDED AND THAT I SHOULD CALL THIS NUMBER TO REACTIVATE IT.  I DON'T HAVE ANY ACCOUNTS WITH BANK OF LANCASTER COUNTY either.  I also did not call them back because it is highly SUSPICIOUS.

It has to be a scam!

I received a call on my cell phone last evening saying that my Bank of Lancaster County (county I live in) credit card had been suspended and it told me to call this number to reach their security department and to activate my card. Now, I do not have a credit card from Bank of Lancaster County so I was somewhat suspicious of the call. So, I called this number 604/357-3033 and the only option it gave was to press one to activate my card, so I pressed one. The next thing it told me to do was enter my 16-digit card number. Needless to say, at that point I promptly hung up. I definitely think it is a scam and should be checked out.

yeah I just got a call from this number too.  Bank of Lancaster County.  Yep.  I called PNC-the actual bank OF lancaster county...and told the operator to report the number to their security department immediately.  weird how lancaster county's area code is 717 but THIS area code is 604.  REAL hard to figure out this one was fraud.

Call 866-760-9201 or 416-848-2000 to contact Bell Canada.

The message when called now says "Hello, Welcome to Bank of Lancaster County Security Department.  To activate your card please press 1."

The number is being used by a scammer.  When called earlier today received "Hello, Welcome to Citizens Federal Savings and Loan Association Security Department.  To activate your card, please press 1."  The it asked for the 16 digit card #.  

The number is out of Canada.  Its a fraud.

I received a call from to call this number because my card had been cancelled from Security Federal.  Strange thing is, I don't have a card with Security Federal.  Someone should report this number.  They sure didn't get my cell phone number from me.
