I just received a call from a Mr. Pickett and he stated that he was from the City of Chicago Dept of revenue, and that I had a outstanding ticket from 2004!!! I never received the ticket and the information of the ticket seemed strange... location and date/time and so forth.  Threatened me to have my license suspended and car booted yada yada this people are scam artist, all be aware of this

Caller said that they were from the City of Chicago and that I owed them money for a ticket (which I didn't have) and that I had to pay it before a certain time on a certain day. Since when does the city CALL YOU to pay a debt...they don't!  They just keep adding fines.  Somebody needs to STOP this.

Received a telephone call from 773-546-9100 and the woman said her name was Heather, that I'd definitely won a grand prize, which might be a new Lincoln Navigator, and that I should call Mr Russell at 866-299-8120 to receive the details. On this last call I received a vm indicating that Mr Bill Russell was unvailable but w/return by call within 5 min's if I left my name & phone number, which I did. Then Heather called me back in 10 min's, indicated Mr Russell was unavailable but that she w/now authorized to proide the prize info: I had definitely won a new car or $45,000; $2500, or a 32" flatscreen tv in a sweepstakes sponsored by Global Vacations, 5500 Frantz Rd, Suite 110, Dublin, Oh, 43107. After providing a winning prize number,I was then told that I w/report to the above address to scratch off a ticket to determine my prize. I asked when & how I had entered this contest & she replied that it was on line w/the last 6-18 mo's. She then wanted me to verify my personal information & I refused & the call was ended.

I received a call today from this number, which shows as CTI, Inc.  The man said he was contracted to handle a deliquent Lowes bill.  He was exrtremely surprised when I told him I didn't have a Lowes Credit Card, therefore he had the wrong party!  He said it could be a mistake and hung up!  

This is an attempt to get credit information!!!  DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

told them to suck my s**t as they said the company i owed money had "filed a judgment" regardless of the fact that if they had done so CTI, a third party collection agency, would not have the file nor be calling. Im a poor college student who was royally f***ed by Wells Fargo with overdraft fees that were not my fault but my employers fault as they had f***ed up and sent my direct deposit to the wrong account.

This is a collection company.  CTI Collections.  I have no debts but a phone number that someone who apparently had a debt used to have.  They call non stop and will not remove my number.  Log the days and times they call.  

I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau then looking into the FTC, I know this cannot be legal.

I got a call from a Grace (Gracie) Wells today - wanted me to pronounce my name for them and obviously didnt know me from nobody. I DO NOT give personal info nor do I 'state my name for the record' for random people.

I recieved a called from this number from a person who said her name was Ms. Temer and I needed to call her back by 12 noon 13 Mar 10.  No other information was given. At the end of the message she said do not ignore this call.  She didn't say what company she was calling from but by looking at all these posts I guess it's from Citi-Bank.  Guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

Be aware of these people because they are  performing scams. They called me and I caught them lying asking and verifying such information that doesn't even exist and afterward telling me that I have to give them my social security and some confidential info's. After the long talk and asking them why they don't have any correct information regarding  my CREDIT CARD debt  that I never owe, they continuously transferred me different agent who sounded the same as the previous agent who I spoke to. After confronting them about the malicious phone call and told  them that I am going to sue their company agency, they started swearing and cussing at me then hanged up. THOSE BASTARDS NEED TO GO TO JAIL FOR HARASSING PEOPLE AND PERFORMING THIS ILLEGAL ACTIONS.

I got a call from the same number. The lady name was Miss Temer she claimed she left several messages but I only have two. This number just popped up on my phone. She was very rude let me a message saying that I have 10 to respond to her by COB 5:00. Then she turned around and told me don't ignore my phone call.

This is the second time they called asking for my neighbor or how she could get a hold her. They gave me her name but I said I didn't know who she was. I told them to quit calling me and hung up.

They continue to call our house and we have reported it several times.  This needs to stop!!!!!!!!!!

They called my home and left a message stating they needed to contact my neighbors and even gave their names. If this is a collection agency why in the world are they calling me?

A collection agency basically cross reference everyone that may have come into contact with you directly or indirect.  So may it be your last roommate or a relative or a friend of a friend, the new owner to the house you sold 7 years ago, it does not matter.  They basically mix and match until they hit someone that says ... the BIG YES, I know the person. You are then placed in their database.  Thereafter, you can expect to get more calls, almost forever.  I wouldn't return any calls if you don't even remotely resemble the name.  They just mix and match last names.  Get a free full credit report, and you will see the spider web of names associated to you.  That is the source of information they start off, and then they use the address to cross reference everyone that lived in the same house, and everyone that lived in the same house with everyone they lived with and every relative they have!  All public information.  Hope that helps.

I just wanted 2 know who it was.

This company keeps calling me about a credit card that is not mine and telling me that I need to send them a letter in the mail explaining that I'm disputing this, etc, etc.  They call all the time and ask for personally identifying information but I don't give it to them.  I'm about 99% sure this company is a scam company trying to commit identity theft.  I've reported them to my local police department.

Left a message on my phone with a scary and intimidating voice and said his name was "Zachary Fields" and said: " . . . I need you to contact my office. Do not ignore this message. . ." He started to talk about what the call was about and then mumbled so I could not understand. my caller ID registered CTI Inc with phone number 773-265-2600 but then he instructed me to call 1-866-471-7100 ext. 2628.

Received my 1st call from a company called CTI today.  What a joy it was to speak with such complete idiots.  It is on a Citibank account which I have been trying to workout a hardship plan on for the past 4 months.  These people at CTI are beyond rude and they violated most of the laws governing credit collection in our first call.  They refused to give any information on their company or even leave a contact number.  I will be calling CITI Recovery in the morning to try and get this worked out.  It concerns me that a company like CTI is doing business with so many large companies.  I can't believe they do not monitor these agencies more closly.

I recieved a message from this number today at 2:45pm and again at 3:00pm EST
The caller stated it was in regards to a beneficial decision in a court case with a case number and that myself or my lawyer needed to contact them.

I wasn't available to answer the call - but a "Mr. Simms" called from this number (773-265-2600) and wanted to speak to me about an 'X' spouse that I haven't known or seen in around 15 years!!!   He refused to give any info as to why was calling to the person that answered.

It's undoubtedly tough for a collection agency to run down deadbeats, but these folks need a few dozen lessons in courtesy.   OTOH, it does make it easy to tell 'em to 'F' off...grin.

received an official sounding voice mail from Lisa Gibbons. She asked if I knew what my son was into and said she could help. (My son is a 28 year old family man)

It seemed fishy so I starting looking on the web to find out who she is. Whatever her scam is it has been running for years.

Asked for someone with the same last name. When I told him no one lived here of that name, he said this was the contact number given. When I reinterated that no one by that name lives here, he said thank you and hung up.

An EXTREMELY rude man calling himself "Al Gonzales" keeps calling from this number.  When I told him I wanted his supervisor's Name and number to report him harrassing me, he basically said "no", and didn't give me the name or number...  I told him I was tired of his harrassments and hung up on him.  Nasty, nasty man..... Are they legit?

SIMILAR AS SO MANY OTHERs above; often the message is garbled. Sometimes not- the calls go on and on, up to 20 each day

i dont know who these people are but they call every day and ask for my fiancee. but i dont pick up when they call so they leave a message on my voicemail saying that they had a matter they had to speak to him on or it will be sent to review and they need a prompt response or they will termite whatever it is on his credit. mrs. libby kennedy is her name and she wants my fiancee's social number and alot of other stuff. so if anyone knows how to stop these people from calling please let me know as well as other people.

A**HOLE ALERT - These guys called me for a Bombay furniture account that was closed oh-so-long-ago. They kept calling my job leaving VERY NASTY voicemails. I called them and told them to cease and desist from contacting me - the bill was paid in full if they continue to call, I would file a harrassment lawsuit against the caller AND the company.
