Same thing happened to me. Six calls in 48 hours from 604-434-8854. In three cases, call display said TELUS, in other 3 cases simply "British Columbia." In one case, caller identified self as a telemarketer from Gatineau; in another, caller identifed self as Vancouver Police Department. I hung up in both cases. Obvious scam.

We are getting calls from this number (604 434 8854) under the name: Toll Free Service, with such frequency (sometimes three times a day) and have so, for the past few months. I came on here, hoping to find some kind of solution to this problem but obviously there isn't one to be had as yet. Maybe the Block Call package is our only option?

I cannot believe these people! The caller ID on the phone is always: Telus Comm., 604 434 8854 and today a different number on the TV: 407 264 8982.
I called Telus and gave them this info and the lady said there is nothing Telus can do. Three times during our conversation she tried to sell me the Block Call package.
These callers are con artists. They are trying to commit fraud. Telus has been advised of this and refuses to do anything, except try to sell an other service. In my opinion, Telus is aiding and abetting these criminals!
Any thoughts?

Got a call again today. The number on the phone ID was 604 434 8854, but this time the number that appeared on the TV screen was: 1 876 403 4057

I got the call last night. The number on the telephone caller ID was the 604 number, but the number that appeared on the TV screen was from New York: 315 299 3374.

received a call from an woman who sounded like she was calling from India telling me that she was receiving error reports from my internet service provider. The call display for 604 434 8854 read 'TELUS' and then again called back and showed same number displaying 'WASHINGTON' and previously when i had not picked up as 'TOLL FREE SERVICE' and 'TELUS COMMUNICATION SVC'

Got a call from 604-434-8854 in regards to calling them back as soon as posible in regards to my CIBC acct.
This number did not aswner.
Called CIBC and they said that it was a bogus phone call and to disregard it.
