Nice enough, but didn't take no for an answer easily. Wanted me to place an advertisement in their "Police Yearbook". Claimed to be for something advocating for longer sentences for child pornography and something else. Said they were from Police Chiefs Association?

Sounded like a scam to me. Too many of these put an ad in our book to support XXXX organizations.

An older man calling himself 'Gerry', called my office attempting to solicit funds for 'Police fundraising' but it sounded suspicious.
He was very rude when I declined to sponsor and hung up on me threatening to call my othere offices.

Caller claimed to be soliciting sponsorship for some stop bullying .ca website.

Became very rude and argumentive when I asked him to stop calling and to take me off their call list.

Refused to take my telephone number out of the database, and said Do Not Call list does not apply to them.

Obviously this is some variation of a scam.
