I got a call and a man from The Mortgage Center with a broken accent (poss East Indian) affirmed
I had a mortgage.  I said No twice then asked whic address he
was referring to. After a hesitation he abruptly hung up. I called back
and got an out of service message. I then reported it to RCMP who
took my complaint and asked me to call an Anti Fraud Org at
1888-495-8501. I called and reported it saying I had heard off
Mortgage tampering. They felt it was info gathering and said they had
received a number of complaints on that number.

A man with an Indian accent and a very poor grasp of the English language said he was from the Federal Grant Department and offered a grant to my wife because she was the "highest tax payer in the area". Would not answer what the grant was for but knew her maiden name and our zip code. He finally hung up on us when we asked too many questions.

Got a call to from a guy saying that he wasBrian from the mortgage center. I asked which one and  he said that he was calling from the corporate office of the mortgage center. Then he told me my name and address and guestimate my interest rate, telling me that I could have better. I asked again which mortgage center and then he said that he was calling from triple A, an organization that deals with all the mortage in the province. I finally told him that he was wasting him time and he hung up.Those people should be in jail!

I goit a call from this number today asking me for either my husband or myself.  I said I was Mrs.  And they said they wanted to speak to my husband the owner of the house.  I said I was the owner....he said he wanted to talk about lower mortgage rates.  I said "are you trying to sell me a mortgage?"  He said, "no, no".  I said mine was fine and hung up on him

wtf how do these people get my number? this guy called and asked for me saying he was from the government and when I asked him his name he hung up on me.

ANY   NUMBER  SHOWING  AS  "  604":  IS  A  FRAUD   SCAMMMER  /   SPOOFED  AND  FAKED!!!

I got several calls from this number, and answered on one.  She said she was calling from
sonething with the US government (hard to understand her ) She said I was chosen to receive
a $7000.00 (I think) grant??????  I was quite rude to her answering "NO" to her  question
if I  would accept the grant.  TOLD her to take me off their calling list.....

I also received call from "Mortgage Centre". I sent email to The Mortgage Centre and they confirmed that this number is not assosiated with them and suggested to contact RCMP.
The caller from this number is definitely a swindler. Never give any personal ID to those "people".
Rather make a record. Take pictures of your Caller ID, tape record the conversation and bring to RCMP.

This woman stated i had applied for a loan and i had not.I conclude that she is looking for personal information take credit information for fraudulant activies.DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIS WOMAN!

I received a call from 604 597-8031, a person named Brian Nickridge  from a mortgage centre called and asked for me. when I asked him why he was calling and who had given him my number, he  sounded very shocked and said " Oh my God " and hung up the phone. I called the number that showed up on my caller ID but got the message that this number doesn't exist.

I had a very rude caller who told me to go to hell because i told him that all of the information he wanted was personal and i was not going to give to him -- when you dial this number is not in service ---- clearly a scam!

got a call from 604-597-2028 and asked my wife... I asked who was calling and the personal said Daniel.  I asked daniel who... he wouldn`t say anything else but that daniel from the mortgage center.  asked why is he calling and then he was kind of shocked and didn`t know what to respond.. he kept asking if I was her husband etc but would n`t give any other info.  After I asked him why he is calling he just hung up.  I called back the number that showed up on my called ID and the machine said that number is not in service.  I called again to make sure and same recording.   Very odd.
