Called with no identification. I just answer it then hang up so's they get charged.

every night for 2 weeks this number
has called even on Sunday I want it stopped

I had 3 calls from Synovate on the same day from three different numbers.I don't answer them.A real pain in the a**.

These d****head callers they need to get a real job and leave the phoning to the owners or bosses that way we all can tell them where to go and how to get there. And yes calling at all hours is a pain besides using other names for them but not aloud.

Calls from 604-664-2442 continuously in the Vancouver area - no msg left - I wont pick up and waste my cell minutes on what is obviously a spamming call ctr!

PS - we already have an unlisted tel# so clearly they are either calling via a directive dialer or just calling in sequence.

Synovate WSTRN Called so many times from Jun 26 to Jun 29. (Phone nos. 6046642485, 6046642482, 6046642440, 6046642483, .......) Even 3 times a day,  I never picked up my phone and they never left massage on my answering machine. My phone number is on DO NOT CALL list. Yeah,  this is ANNOYING !!

If they are really calling on behalf of businesses like KalTire, then fire off a letter to these companies, telling them that their association with Synovate is reason enough for you to NEVER do business with them. Synovate is scum, but they are being hired by other companies to do market research surveys.

Boycott these companies, or inform them of Synovate's tactics. Put these parasites out of business!

WE are from 403 area code. 604-664-2442 called us around 8PM yesteday night but kept quite. They took all my space in my answering machine. EVEN if I am on Canada and USA DO NOT CALL list. No rules applies to these spammers. Nothing....

it's sunday and i just got a call from these people-it's Synovate Western...and they better stop because by geezus if i have to talk to them they'll wish they never bothered. i am on the do not call list too....goes to show you how effective the do not call list/registry is. maybe we all need to start hassling the CTRC to do something. i never pick it up by the way cause i screen all my calls....but these people are like a bad rash that won't go away!   good to see people posting stuff though.

this number similar called me on a sunday in the day and now on a mnday night and its a 1-604-664-2426 number and when i call they either dont answer or its busy... some f***ed up s**t going on but if i could figure out what their address is i would send them some anthrax,.... ok maybe i dont have any anthrax .. but still i wish i knew their personal phone numbers too i would call at all sorts of odd times and never leave an indication of why... i might also light a bag of turd and stick it on their door step... too far?

This number has called twice! And very late at night and the woman on the line wanted to talk about gasoline!? I asked her if she new what time it was, and she had no idea and continued to talk! I hung up! I am getting sick of it!

I got it at like exactly at 8:10 pM and I am ten they asked for my mom and I said no sorry, she isnt here, I have a 778 area code and yeah ANNOYING!!

This number called many times. I called back and it's Synovate.

We are from the 403 area code as well, and they just called at 9:30pm.  I asked if they  knew how late it was, and the women said her superviser should be telling them to stop calling soon.  I told her I wasn't impressed and she said all she could do was to apologize - I then hung up.  This is getting ridiculous, it's bad enough they call through the day, but now they are calling well into the night.

I also received a call from 604-664-2442 yesterday and today Mar. 26, 2011. I agree these and similar phone numbers along with the toll free numbers are really getting to me. It is going to get to the point of changing my phone number to a unlisted number with our MTS carrier if this harrasement of annoying calls from all these solicitors continue. STOP CALLING OR ELSE.....

I received a phone call from 604-664-8448 (Synovate) onThursday, February 17, 2011.  The call was made to 403-612-7172.  My phone numberS are on the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST.....Why are you still calling my phone numbers.  Please do not call my  phone numbers again.  Thank you.

Synovate has been calling me for few days. I never picked up the phone. Then they switched to using 604-664-2442 which showed no name in caller id. They called late at night. Bad practice.

Idiotic conversation, I asked (without telling who i am) what's this regarding? She said, her supervisor has the details and supervisor wants to talk to...
I asked why she called the number if she doesn't have the 'details'?
She said if this person is there then supervisor wants to give details.
[this went on for few seconds]
I told her to remove my number and never call this number again. So next day, I got call from them again and all she was saying on phone was 'hello.......hello.....hello.....hello'.
Hope this post contributes to negative publicity for this company and their practice.

I don't really care if they are people too! It's MY FRIGGIN phone!! And I don't want them calling me, nor do the majority of people they call. If you don't like to take s*** from people  get a different job!

what are you people, friggin' stupid? When someone hangs up on you, it means they don't want to talk to you and to call them back is harrassment. I am so fed up with telemarketers, surveyors and scammers. It is now to the point where I can't answer my own phone. Both hubby and I work at home and these calls are constant interruptions.

When people hang up while you're talking, you just call back? What kind of a strategy is that? Now that the person you're calling knows what you're calling for and that they don't want to talk to you, they certainly won't pick up and do your survey the second time you call. Or are you admitting that you call back to deliberately annoy people who hung up on you? Nice!

I work for synovate vancouver, out of the Vancouver call center we call for Kal Tire, Envision Financial, Credit Union MasterCard Rogers Wireless, HydroOne(formerly Ontario Hydro) and some other companys, we are NEVER selling anything and a sales call will not result from completing a usually short survey. I understand it is annoying, I used to work on the phones, it was the worst job in the world, I was doing it to pay for school. If you really do not want to do the survey, just tell us politely, we are not going to push you into doing it, it will just make our day that much Nicer. Besides, if you hangup when we are halfway through the introduction we are just going to call you back anyway.

I called the no back and let it ring about 20 times and someone just answered hello with no company ID.I told them to remove my no. they said ok but I registered the complaint with National do not call list. I know people have to work but it may force them to get something more worthwhile to work for rather than working for the supposedly scummy people who run these companies
