most people only have there furnace inspects tuned or cleaned every 2 to 4 yrs. we have serviced almost 30000 homes in almost 10 yrs.
20 complaints out of 3700 let alone 30000 isn't bad. even the BBB states we have resolved these complaints.

If McDonald's had every customer who ever had there meal wrong post there complaints on bbb there rating would be a C too.

I have been getting called so much from this number for so long  (around 3yrs on and off) whenever I see the number on call display I think it must be a friend of mine. I didn't give much thought to it as I am usually  busy, but once I realized it was an actual company and noticed that this has been going on for far too long...I was pissed. After several hang ups every time I answer and one creepy message ( man's muffled voice, explicit comments and heavy breathing) on my answering machine, I searched the number and found this site. I'm just wondering if they actually use this number for their business or if they or one person working there are truly abusing it for other weird purposes as I have never spoke to an actual person. Oh, and I still have the recording on my answering machine in case I need to take it to the police.

I just received a call from this number and waited for the answering machine to pick up suspecting it might be a solicitation.  I was right! I looked up the number online and this page came up. The current BBB rating is C and there are 20 complaints filed to date- August 28, 2012.
Perhaps best  avoided.

I just got a call offering duct cleaning. (I live in a condo) -- I also got a call from them a few months ago wanting to service my furnace. (It would appear they don't remove your number when you don't require their service)

Eaton Heating Services do not pay wages, the managers are rude and they'll ignore you! Don't entertain the call, they'll scam you! Be aware!

They call a lot, never leave a message. I actually managed to speak to someone ( once ) and explained that we had just had our boiler & furnace serviced and wouldn't require their services. They still call.

Yes in a way you are correct, but I did contact them and asked not to be called again.  Yea I had 3 months repreeve and they are starting to phone again.  they phone & when you answer, they hang up. Their phone number is diplayed, but with no company name.

In mid-December, I was contacted by an investigator with the CRTC's Compliance and Enforcement Sector.  I was told that several people had lodged complaints about Eaton's Residential Services and that an investigation had been launched into their activities.  I was asked to provide testimony about these illegal activities and to sign a witness document affirming the statements that I'd made in my complaints.  I readily agreed.

All of the witness documents are now being forwarded to a commissioner who will determine what sort of penalty should be assessed.  From what the investigator said, this appears to be a slam-dunk because of the number and severity of complaints, and the penalties should be quite harsh.  So, it looks like Eaton's is finally going to get its just desserts!

By the way, this goes to show that lodging complaints with the National Do Not Call List does pay off.  Don't hesitate to call the CRTC or fill in the form on their website if you have a complaint.  It's not a futile gesture!  We ARE being heard!

same here I'm on the phone now calling to report this # now. the provider of this caller is calling our place from a Telus land line, this is as much as I know right now.

have been receiving numerous calls from this number  and the caller id just comes up as v09131902200006.  never leaves a message and doesn't say anything when answered.

he called yesterday morning but no one picked up because we were all asleep. he then called today afternoon. i picked up and said hello? at first, it was all weird with muffling and stufff then a man's muffled voice that said 'sorry, got the wrong number'

i mean, if he got the wrong number, why did he call twice??

I got a call from this number but it was dead for a few seconds a quiet ding/beep thing and then a computerish woman's voice saying blankly "goodbye".

No caller id which makes paying for caller id stupid.

i just rec'd this call but it appearede as V0729.....................00005.  very susupicious, no response when i picked up, no message left.  don't like it.

i pick ask if i can know who it is and the guy says no. sketchy if i may say.
