I got a message on my phone by a Eric Brown tonight stating he is calling from CRA Tax Audit and that a petition has been started against me for fraud.  I am contacting the Anti Fraud Centre and reporting it.

I got a mesage from someone going by the name of Eric (he did not provide his last name) informing me that there was a petition for a tax fraud that was filed against me. he asked me to call him back at  604-800-9819. The message did not sound professional. So I decided to Google the number and came across this posting. i knew that was a scam as I used to work for a CRA call centre and I can rognize a genuine CRA phone number. Thanks a lot, Kel, for posting your experience with those scammers. they are caling from Vancouver and try to sound Canadian. Bad for them. The mesage was just not professional. by the same token, 1 month ago, I got a call from some one going by the last name of William who offered to extend a loan to me. But he wanted me to get a reload prepaid pack from Home Depot or Safeway before he can provide the loan. That was also a call from 604 area. There is something fishy going on in Vancouver.

I got this number called my cell today, he said he is from cra dept, said I owned their money from 2008-2012. But here is tricky part, I told them I just talked to cra last month regarding to my tax return. I am 100% sure I don't owe money to cra. So I told this guy that I am busy now and will call back to cra later... There he go, he keeping don't let me go and enforce me to pay off the balance right now , otherwise he is going to put a lien on my asset... Such as car. I told him why don't you send me the statement to show me why and how I owe this money. He didn't answer me this question, just keep askin me to provide credit card to pay off te balance.

I am starting suspect this is scram and I am going to call cra tomorrow and confirm it.
