I have done some research into this matter over the last little while and found this site that tells everyone about these numbers and whom they are owned by.

All numbers with those digits are owned by the same company,....MTS Allstream.

Feel free to call them.  I have put myself on the Do Not Call registry at https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng and suggest everyone do the same.  It appears they might make phone calls for multiple companies.

I am wondering why they keep calling me if I live in an apartment building on the 2nd floor, even if they wanted to fix something in the building I have no authorization to let them do it.  Completely stupid.

It is bloody annoying when this number calls and when I answer they do not even have the decency to answer back. Stop bloody calling me.

I called the number and Fido said it wasn't assigned.

This number just called: man identified himself as from Eaton(s?) Residentail and asked for my husband, who isn't home. I asked for a message and the man said "no message, maam, we'll just try back later." then hung up.

I got one and no answers

They called again, nobody on the other side when I said hello...

They just called and said my neighbor reported a gas leak, and asked me if my home heat system use gas, and they will send a guy to my house.  Lucky me that my husband wass at home and I let him  answer the phone at last.  He detected them, so they hung up the phone.

got a call asking whether need fitters for natural gas. When I returned the call, it said number not assigned. Yet they knew my name

No answer when I picked up. I called back and got the message "That number has not yet been assigned"

This is very strange

They are calling,  to check if you have people at home

I just block the call with Phone Company option or my home phone feature option as reports are they call repeatedly

I just filed a claim with the police in Surrey

The girl said her name was Latisha and then giggled and hung up! How immature!!!

They called again. They sometimes have a different number. I asked if I was on a list or something and that they have called like 15 times and that I'd like to not be called anymore and they hung up on me. If I call back the number is busy. Do I need to file a police report for harassment or what?
