They call 4-5 times a day and don't leave a message. Sometimes they call  back to back. No message is left and tired of them calling

In 2 1/2 hours this morning I had 3 calls from this number.  They did not leave a message.

This bill was paid, I am on the dnc list.

Nothing but a pain.  They call the house 10 times a day and somehow, they found my cell number.  I'm going to start telling them they have the wrong number.  It's INSANE!  Add to that, any time I try to tell them my husband isn't here and I can answer their questions, they are so rude I finally hang up.  We can't even tell what the debt is supposedly for.

They called me stating they had personal business, but would not identify themselves and what they wanted before I would acknowledge myself. Boyfrien told them they had the wrong number and they still are calling my cell phone. Isn't that a NO NO???

It is Haugge Associates, which are debt collectors. The specific lady that I spoke to was rather rude and unwilling to work with the you. They want the whole bill taken care of on the spot. Definitely not practical people, it's a all or nothing concept. My advice, two things ignore the call, or pick it up and say you have the wrong number. Legally they can not call that number thereafter simple as that.

This company is notorious for Copper Cottage collections and local medical collections.  They can be jerks (and will be). Don't take their crap.  Know your rights!!

he fact that he refuses to identify himself and why he's calling is a violation of federal debt collection laws.  On that point alone, you can report him to the Federal Trade Commission and your state's attorney general. Here's where you can file a complaint online with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/  And you can get the contact information for state's attorney general through Google or here: http://www.naag.org

Also, keep in mind that you have no obligation to communicate with a debt collector or to have to endure their calls. To stop the calls, simply send a letter to Hauge Associates informing them to cease all communication with you and warning them that you will pursue legal sanctions against them if they don't comply with your cease communication request. Just be sure to mail it via *certified* US Mail with a return receipt request, and save a copy of your letter.  If they contact you more than once after receiving your cease communication letter, then they are breaking the law and subject to fines for each incident.

It's Hauge Associates, a collection agency. Just thought ya all would like to know

Very agressive talker - Derick Black - 605-332-0371 - Has called several times before, often more than once in a day!   Very inquisitive & wanting personal information.  My son just took the latest call - & had even asked to speak with our housekeeper.   Will not leave detailed message, but seems to know enough to concern me.  Will not state if this is personal or business, financial or otherwise.   Just a smooth & rude talker.

This number keeps showing up as a missed phone call on my cell phone.  I am getting about a dozen a day starting in the morning around 8:00 or so and continuing until 8:00 at night.  I would like this to stop.

He just called here.  I would have tried to get more infor if I knew it was an issue.  The odd thing is he wanted to talk to the man I live with but not me.  How he got his name I have no idea since my name is on the phone and I am the only one on the computer.  Would be interested if anyone else talks to him
