I got a call this morning - did not answer - I live in Canada - we receive numerous calls from scammers re virus on internet etc. so I do not answer very often if I don't know the number or area code

This number is being used by scammers who call people who have lost dogs.  They offer to search for your dog for a price and promise results or your money back.  They do not have people who search for dogs.

I found a message on my answering machine with this number on my caller ID. He claimed to be a Mark Johnson with the IRS Investigative Division.  The message stated that if I did not call back to a different number 202-621-0813, I would be thrown in jail because there was a claim filed against my social security number. I called the IRS and this is not one of their numbers and they  always send letters for something like this. This is a scam.

Got called today from this number , no one responded, so I hung up.

recieved a call from this number 2x today one i missed second one i recieved. told me he was from "windows" and my  pc was in urgent repair. I yelled a few choice curse words threatened to report him to the police and then proceeded to ask for his manager he hung up..

They are  now calling Belgium... already 3 times in a week on my phone number :-).
Same dialog... calling from windows, or from microsoft...
wanting to help me to remove an infected file from my computer...
i played a little bit with him, just to make him lose time :-) they are english speaking with Indian accent, but i answered in french to see how far he will go ... at least, he tried to get me for 5 minutes... then hang up.

They called today at  10:29am ET and left an ominous message. It was delivered in an Indian/Middle Eastern accent, so a little hard to believe that they are from the FBI or US agency, not to mention the American sounding name.  Here is what was said: "My name is Agent John Anderson and my hotline to my division is 202-506-9044, I repeat 202-506-9044.  Now, if you don't return the call or I don't hear from your attorney either, then be prepared to face the legal consequences.  Goodbye and take care."

I just had a call from this number...he didn't ask about my computer but to bi*** about me not shoveling my sidewalk and that he almost slipped and fell...weird...

Have been bothered by this person before.  He has called at a decent time this time.
Indicated that I have a problem with my computer.  Scam!  I was not polite in my
comments to him.

Got a call at 12:11 p.m. telling me that he was from Microsoft and I had a problem with my computer.
I told him to f--- off and would be ready to punch him in the nose if he called again.  He probably will.
I am in Canada--don't know how he got my number.

Got a call this morning, told them to f**koff, must have hit a nerve with the guy because he has phoned back 4 times now.I just hang up when I see the #.

I just had the guy on the phone just ignored it and google that number, best thing too do....

This person called saying he was from Windows and they were getting warning from my computer.  This was a foreign person and I had difficulty understanding him.  I told him I was on a do not call list, to remover my number from his calling list.  He insisted he was not trying to sell me anything, but that he was from windows and getting warning from my computer.  I told him I did not know why that would be happening, that I did not trust this phone call at all and hung up.  I have reported the number on the DO Not Call List and filed a complain.

Amazing, same number, same scam for more than a year!  I am guessing they fake the caller ID.

I just got 2 calls from this number.. ignored the first and found this page. Second call I answered and this person tried to tell me about viruses on my computer. I started laughing and they hung up... worked well!

They have called me in Norway 3 times.. One time it was hidden number...

I have a Swedish nr and he called me 3 times in a row at 3:30 am that i ignored, I answered on the 4th attempt thinking that it probably was urgent. And he started talking about my computer id being hacked. Told him not to call at such an inappropriate time and hung up!

They called me this morning and I let the Indian guy go through his whole spiel about my computer sending out error messages and what not. I acted super dumb and asked a million questions and the guy got so irritated. At the end, he said now he was going to transfer me to an agent that could fix my computer by remoting in and I said "of course I'm not going to let you do that, don't be ridiculous". He got really mad and said thanks for wasting my time. I had him on the phone for 10 minutes!

Indian probably fellow representing us gov about medical something, social security checks. supposedly has something i need, could not understand him.

Got a call today asked for the "owner" by name.  Who does
not work here AND we never get calls for him. I asked if
it was personal or business.  Buisness--I ask if anyone else
can help them.  Make it short --they were pushy.  Also
I believe they called before with no phone ID showing
then I think they used this number so I would pick-up.
Also they could be from citibank.  Right after I could a
call from 6617480240 asking for the same person.

Answered call, no one on the line...  This is the 2nd time today that I received a call like this, but from a different number...

I am either getting calls from this number or an "unknown" number. The individual's that keep calling my keep saying that they are from "Microsoft" and that my computer is not downloading the "windows updates" and that my computer is about to crash and they need me to get on my computer "RIGHT NOW AND GIVE THEM ACCESS TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND REMOVE THE VIRUS"

However, when I called HP & Microsoft they know nothing about these problems. So they both ran a diagnostic on my computer and there is nothing wrong with my computer! HP & Microsoft also said they do not call unless I was to call them 1st and either HP or Microsoft would show up on my caller ID. Both HP & Microsoft told my this is a scam, only to gain access to ALL of my account information!!

Keep calling me constantly after SPECIFICALLY telling them stop

same scam about windows errors i guess its a sure bet if you are running windows you will have errors,this clown did nt even know proper computer terminology. Told him to f#@K off. hung up.

I live in Norway - Someone called me twice today - the second time from this number.

I just got the same call and I told him I couldn't access my computer right now and to give me his number and I would call him back..he hung up

Got a call from this number at 7.45pm. The foreign caller claimed to be calling about my windows computer.  I said I didn't have one and he hung up.
