Called my wife's mobile phone this A.M.( Galway Ireland). Wanted to speak to the owner of the phone. Spoke with an Indian / Pakistani accent. Told her that there was a problem with 'windows'. She told him that she did not know one end of a computer from the other and to 'go f*** off '.

When I said "NO' he asked me disgusting questions about my private parts; any idea how to top this scam, please?

I keep getting these calls from this number and I keep telling them that it is B******* and that it is a scam, they just keep on and on  with their talk. Who believes this garbage. I have blocked their number and many of the other numbers in the above post. What a load of losers.

The purpose of his call was to cheat you, so he could feed his camel.

Got a call at 9:30pm on a friday saying his name was parker ( strong accent ) and he works with Windows so i hung up.

Guy called and said he was from Dish Network and all of our channels would be updated to high definition.  He said our Dish Network was billed through CenturyTel.  He wanted information on our current dish receivers.  I told him that this was a bad time to discuss this, asked for his telephone number and I would call back.  He hung up.  SCAM!!  

Phoned. They would not leave a message or name. I refuse to answer calls from unknown numbers.

Could Obama please do SOMETHING useful before he leaves office and get tough with darn scammers? Or at least ask them nicely not to do it again? Or maybe give them one of his "red lines" or make believe cut off dates for doing it
We could put a man on the moon, but the phone company doesn't have the tech to stop this scamming? yeah, right.

Today I got a message on my landline asking me to call this number.He also give hotline no.2508000381.He warned he I did not call him he will take legal action against me.I try to call hotline no. it says no. not in service.I tried to call 6077329064,it ask to record the message.It seems a scam.

I was just called from this number. (I'm in Australia.)  The caller said his name was Harry and that he was from Centrelink (Australian Social Security).

13 calls in between 13:58-14:04 then i blocked them all.

I played along and they wanted me to go to www.teamviewer.com. I told them i only see porn and that i was only 13 years old. He said no u typed it in wrong. And then i told him that he and his co-worker is full of s*** and not to call me anymore.

I also received a call from this number it rung up as pay phone 607-732-9064. The man said that he was with a computer company same guy with a heavy east India accent. Tell me that my windows computer was sending him information. I just simply said no it's not and he wanted to argue with me I just simply hung up on him.

got a call from this guy today. He sounded like he was from Packastan. He told me that he was from windows. REALLY, I played along with him for a while. He said go to your computer. I told him that I wasn't going to hand over the control of my computer to him so forget it. He asked why not. I said, cause I don't know you. He kept telling me to hit the windows and R at the same time. I kept telling him NOPE, it's not working. it was pulling up my legal file. He said you are lying. I said, Don't telll me I am lying, what company are you with again. He said windows. I said the Windows company, what kind of windows? Are you speaking of microsoft itself. He said listen to what I am telling you and do it on your computer and I will show you all the errors I am speaking about.then you will believe me.  I said ya, its' not working, it just brings up a file I searched for earlier. He called me a liar. Well obviously a good rep would not call someone a liar. I told him. Don't f*#king call me a liar, again. He hung up. hahaha . No I am not an easy mark, and ya, I took the liberty of driving the would be hacker in sane. So What! He deserved it. I used to work in network security. What a loser.

I have received 3 calls from this number. They do not respond to my hello. When I call back, a recording tells me this number is not in service.

I just got off the phone with them and told them the computer was brand new and we know a guy who comes out and does all of our anti-virus and upkeep.  He went on about how I'd have to pay and I'm like oh no it's family so it's free.  Then he hung up lol

He said the same as the others that my comp downloaded malicious crap etc.  Please.

I got call from them, east indian sounding voice..told me he was from windows tech. depart. and I reporting errors, I asked him to tell me when they came threw and what problems I had as well as why he calling when they don't notify u this way, he said, why you yell at me and hung up lol..bunch of cons

I guess because I'm in Sweden ! He wants to verify something with my personal details
I said I did not have the time to talk! Which is actually true!. His main worry was if I was at the office.
It sounded scam big time

I got a phone call at 2:33 today from someone with a thick foreign accent, possibly Indian. He was telling me that he was warning me that my Microsoft in my computer was infected with a dangerous virus etc. I  told him that i have an excellent anti virus program and that he should ne worry so much, Then I hung up.

Husband received a call on his mobile, but didn't answer as the number indicated it was an ? American or Canadian number calling which immediately rang an alarm bell with him.

I just received a phonecall from this number. 10:30 am. She told me there was some virus or something on my comp. The only virus I got was that phone call

Received a call from this number, they asked for Mr. Filippone, my wife had actually answered the call and when she identified herself, they hung up.

We just got a call from this phone number. My husband was on the phone today with microsoft for an xbox issue... so at first when the person called and told my husband its about issues he was having with his computer.. he thought i was for his xbox.. but the longer the convo went on and I overheard them wanting him to install software on his computer... I decided to do a quick check online with the phone numeber to discover this page.. PHEW.. he disconnected the computer and hung up before anything fully installed

The Do Not Call List is only for legitimate companies. These people are crooks and lowlife. Adding your number to a list, asking them politly to take your number off of their list or playing nice with them, DOES NOT WORK! Period! You need to take matters into your own hands and hurt them. Keep them on the line with false information as long as you can. When they answer, say 'Hold on just a minute', set your phone down, and walk away. Do anything you can to cost them time or money.

Just got a call this AM in northwestern Ontario.  East Indian male telling me that my computer was uploading junk files.  He was very difficult to understand.  He had to repeat himself several times.  I hung up on him and called PhoneBusters at 1-888-495-8501 to report the call.  This number has been reported already and they use a variety of speaches to try to get to your money.  The more this kind of activity gets reported, the more likely that something can be done about it.

Same line "your computer is generating errors and we at Windows tech support are calling to help you." What is hilarious is that they keep talking even after I told them that I knew they were trying to scam me.
