Received call on my cell at 11:30 today, did not answer.  Love this website so I can check out the scams etc.

Please everyone if you get this call report to your phone company!  Call yours and find out what number you dial after each call to report.  My phone company has a 3 digit code i call after I receive a call that traces the call back.  They don't even bother saying anything anymore just hello and hang up.  When I look up the different numbers they all say the same thing "computer people, virus, windows, downloading etc"  please if you do have a computer turn off remote access!

Got a call from this number .... Answered it...a guy said hello twice and then wouldn't says word. I hung up and called the number back only to have a constant ringing noise in the headset. Obviously a scammer.

Got a call from "Unknown" number telling me about Microsoft issues with my puter. Wanted me to go to my computer. I said "Oh my gosh really?" acted like I was interested then hung up. Then the moron called back from 607.733.6833. Let him explain his nonsense then hung up on him.

Got several calls on my parents home phone in Hawaii while I was visiting. Guy had East Indian accent and used my last name, said he was from Microsoft windows support and that my computer was sending fatal error messages, that I needed to log on immediately so he could remotely fix the problem. I told him my computer was off, he said it was still sending messages and that I needed to log on now. I hung up and he called back a few times So I just kept hanging up I will also contact Microsoft support.

This is absolutely a scam, and they are so stupid about it that I don't know how they haven't been caught yet!!  I get this Indian guy speaking at me, and there is a louder Indian guy in the background on another call, saying almost exactly the same scripted BS as the first guy.  They drop buzzwords like "McAffee" to get your attention, and of course 1 in 4 is probably using McAffee so they have your attention.  But this guy was fumbling around like such a dope that all you could do was laugh in his face, and report it.  Elmira NY is the origin of the call, and I was actually just out that way last week, so that caught my attention too!  All you can do is to report it here and other places, and at FCC.gov.

Got a missed call from this number +6077336833 early this morning on my way to work with no message. I actually thought it was a friend but alas, I guess it was a crank call.

I have been getting numerous calls from this number, once claiming to be microsoft support, but now I get hangups from them. 3 so far today!

got a call last night from them said Elmira NY with the computer scam crap...this morning they switched to all it said was payphone but was the same computer scam...time for someone to put a stop to this crap!!!!

East Indian accent with display saying New York. "mam, I am from Windows" I said "no, you're not, this is a scam", he laughed and said "yes, you're right! this is a scam! give me your credit card number...please, please, please! Got to give him credit for a sense of humor!

Just got a call from this number, caller ID said Elmira NY. He said he was calling from Windows (LOL calling from an operating system) and that I had downloaded lots of "infections". I asked him if he really thought I would believe him, and he got beligerent and tried to talk over me. I said that I knew it was a scam and that I had his number, and I hung up. I tried to call back and got a fax. Don't believe this scam!!! No one will ever call you from "Windows"!!!

I just received a call from this number at 2:38 p.m. today and all it did was say "goodbye" and hung up. I have better things to do with my time than answer calls that won't do anything.

Rec'd call from this number.  Caller ID display stated "TOPS #551 607-733-6833".  When I answered and said hello, line stayed silent.  Finally after about 10 seconds an automated voice said "goodbye" and hung up.

Får opp et kart over hvor det er ringt fra. Det er de her indere igjen. Skifter nummer hele tiden Stedet heter: Khahar -India. Fikk for ca 10-14 dager siden tle. 8155-19-9834- og -9377 -9540-7607 alle disse begynner med 8155-19. Indere som utgir seg for Microsoft. Jeg svrer normalt ikke, men han vekket meg og på gebrokkent engelsk sa han det var fr Microsoft tecnical Department. Jeg bare koblet ut. Denne gang het stedet: Gowribidanur - Indi.

Same asian guy, thick accent called and tried to get me to work on my computer, threatening viruses and worse.

A man with a heavy accent argued bitterly with my mother in law that she must give up her personal information because her computer has viruses. She says she believes he also called from 585-762-9912

The guy told me he was calling from Windows in Houston. Told me I had a Windows malware issue...I told him I had a Mac and he hung up. Definite scam!!!!!

I just got the same call...scam, i just asked him where he's calling from and why and then I hung up on him.

For sure it is a scam and just got the phone call and I lied to them that I don't have a computer and they hung up!!!! Guess what.........those are the suckers who want to scam people and don't trust any words they say!!!!!!

received a call from 607-733-6833 and 607*363-9777 he said he was from Microsoft and that something on my pc was putting me at risk of having my Microsoft Licence cancelled. I knew it was a scam so I said cancel it.  well that made him start calling me all kinds of names swearing fool head off.  Advised him I was calling the police and hung up. He called back threatening that he was going to come to my home at beat me up and drive his truck up me.  I called the police and made a report but living in Canada and this idiot was calling from the USA not a lot can be done.

Just received a call from this number. The guy had an Indian accent.  Said he was calling from Advanced Technical Support at Windows, and that they had received a number of error reports from my computer.  When I asked where he was calling from he said Utah. He wanted to show me why on my computer I could find all of these malicious viruses that they were receiving reports on.  I have been getting these calls for nearly a year. I just hang up.

Just received a call at 10pm and was woken up by these idiots, like seriously grab a brain. So of us get up early for work. Im fed up with these calls have been blocking them.
