Today i got a call from this number on my home number. So they are also active in Holland. I didn't anserwerd the phone.

Got a call from 6077349187 saying this is "Lisa calling from Windows PC" saying that my computer has disconnected from the windows server. She asked if I was aware and I said yes I am. She seemed surprised that I knew about this. (I wanted to call their bluff and see what they woul do)  they asked how come I hadn't called them yet.

I am always skeptical of these kinds of calls.

I asked for a number to call back then and she said, why would you call back I am on the phone with you now?

I then told her I was okay with the "problem" with my computer to which she said "it's not okay".

I then asked her so if I'm okay with it, then why is it not okay.

She then hung up.

Hopefully they quit calling to try to rip people off!!!!

Also got a called from a guy with a indian accent ging by the name of David Anderson saying he was from Microsoft wanting to fix my PC. When I asked too many questions about who he really was, he position in Microsfot, from where he was calling etc, he finally hung up

Got a call from this number this morning I didn't answer and when it went to my answering machine they didn't leave a message

Received a call from 607-734-9187 with heavy accent of SouthEast Asian who wants me to turn on my computer to read my CSID #. He claimed that the Window OS (operation system) my computer is jeopardized at vital verge needing immediate helps. He told me that he is a technician of  '24-7 Live Supports' achieving my personal information through the registration. He knows my name, address, but doesn't know my computer type. I asked his return phone number excusing that I was not by my computer. The number 302-261-5414 he gave was another company at DE instead. I didn't call... cautiously...

I received a call from 607-734-9187 on my cell # in which the person stated that I had been accepted to receive a grant from the online application I had completed.  I informed him that I did not complete an online application, I may have indicated I was interested in grants but did not proceed to fill out any information.  He continued to explain how a grant works, (free money).  When I interrupted to ask how much this grant was going to cost me, the line was disconnected.   Looking at the other responses tied to this phone number I had remembered also receiving a call last year at 4 AM at home # stating that I had a virus.  When I asked him what computer the virus was on, he hung up.  Both occasions appeared to have heavy Indian accents.  Just thought it was to coincidental!

Indian or P*** male named "Adam", launched into Viagra pitch... I hung up.

Call comes in as "NEW YORK" + the number.

Received call from accented man by the name of "Adam". Launched into a Viagra pitch, I hung up.

Heavy accent...from (607) 734-9187  said "hello maam my name is Mike and I am from Windows PC"   I have gotten several of these calls since August.   ...I just said no you are no you are not and hung up.   They try to get you to give them your computers ip address.   Heard rumors that someone had their bank account cleaned out from these people.   Please do something to stop them.

Awesome I screw with these idiots as well. I am retired so my time is free. I keep them on the as long as possible. Sometimes I get cussed out when it dawns on them they are being F'ed with.

Heavily accented east indian sounding male voice called from 607.734.9187, said my computer has sent an urgent message about downloads of malicious malware and virus. Turn on your computer and I will tell me what to enter to get rid of them. What company is this?: At one point he is from windows but later says my computer solution dot com. He addressed me by first and last name. I said I had not subscribed to the service and asked what the service cost. He In turn insisted I turn on my system "now" and do what "I" say.  He declined to give his callback phone number by saying he would call me back. When asked  for a callback number again, he had sooo much trouble hearing me that he finally disconnected.

I was called tonight on my dutch phone. I answered. First i heard nothing and then a female computer voice saying goodbye and then the line was disconnected

phone rang twice i answered it and noone there keeps calling i do not answer it now as it is from 607-734-9187

got a call from this number just 20 minutes ago with an Indian guy asking to speak to me I tell him she isnt here can I take a message and he say when is a good time that I can talk to her again I said can I take a message and the call ends. I tried calling back but no one would answer so I looked online to see if this number was a scam because it happen to me before and found out that it was CRAZY

I had the same problem today and two days ago from the number +1 (630) 653-9660 and from the number +1 (607) 734-9187. They call me on my mobile phone. Because I 'm driving I don't answer him immediatly and I check on this forum the number . Fortunatly I find your information and I have decide to don't answer anymore to these numbers. This is my personal opinion. I have started to receive this calls one day later after I have used my mobile phone  number to receive messages from expedia and trivago organizing a holyday in USA. Have somebody of you had this perception ? May be is only a case but .....

My mom received a call from this number tonight.  The man had a very heavy indian accent. He claimed to be from Western Union and said his name was James Rogers.  He said that Nortons' had moved out of the country and they were refunding her money to her for her Norton's account.  Unfortunately, she was on the phone for over an hour and ended up letting him on her computer. He also, was trying to get all kinds of personal information. Finally someone came in and made her hang up and turn off her computer and said they wouldn't do anything.  He got mad and said he was going to crash her computer.  I am guessing he probably tried.  We don't know yet.He also, attempted to charge money to her credit card.  Please be careful of these people.  They are ruthless and prey on the elderly and those that do not understand.

I received call from this number. When asked who is on the other line, a man answers asking me instead, this guy called from different numbers 630-893-9893, 310-510-9153, 607-734-9187, +3444.  The caller was a male voice speaking Hindi very fluently and was asking what is my name.

They crossed the ocean! As I live in Holland, I saw the USA-number so I immediately thought: hm, strange. Fortunately I was on my bike (!) and with the snow and gloves on, I wasn't fast enough to answer :-)

I got a call from a man with a very heavy Indian accent who told me I had a malicious infection in my computer.
I could barely understand what he was saying.  He claimed to be from the head office of Microsoft.  When I asked where he was calling from he said India.  For $65.00 he could fix this problem forever.  I told him I had no time to talk so he said he would call back.

They called early in the morning yesterday from (516-746-9347) and my wife said it was before 7:00 am and hung up. They called again today from this New York number and said they were "calling on behalf of my computer from the Microsoft Tech Center". They said my computer had been reporting errors and had a virus. At this point I was transferred to a "senior supervisor" whothen asked that I go to the web site www.teamviewer.com. At that point I knew they wanted to take control of my computer and I told them that since they knew who I was they needed to email me the instructions. They immediately hung up.
Both men had strong Indoasian/Russian accents and were quite difficult to understand. When I answered the call it appeared to redirect because I heard a phone ringtone before they actually spoke to me.

watch out for scam callers! I am in Ottawa, Canada and just received a call from a man with heavy indian accent. Claimed that my computer had serious and malicious virous. He was from "windows". I of course hung up and followed up on the incoming number. Seems like this is a line used to scam ppl...

Also got a call from this number but it was a female not male and was claiming she was from windows and needed to fix my computer as i had worms so its justed not men calling from this number

I just got a call from this number. A girl with an Indian accent and said there is a virus in my computer and she is calling from Microsoft. I said to her that there isn't anything wrong with my computer so she said trust me there is a virus in ur computer. While I was listening to her- I called the number from my cell phone n it says that this number is not in service. I already knew this was a scam call but I wanted to make sure. I finally just hung up on her. This was the number she called from 6077349187.

Some Indian guy called to say I had really fast acting viruses in my computer and he would guide me into getting rid of them. Mispronounced my name and said he was from Microsoft. Checked my computer and said I had no notices telling me I had problems. He said just type what I tell you and I will show you where the problems are. I said I don't know you, you could be Donald Duck with an Indian accent, you could say you are Bill Gates, you could.... He hung up.   Don't even answer when you get any calls from this number. I am going to contact the media and try to get them to do a story on this.

I got a call from 607-734-9187 tonight. Heavily accented East Indian sounding voice.

He asked for me by name: "Are you Mr. *****?"

Said something about Microsoft and that I had downloaded viruses or something. He then asked if I wanted him to access my computer to get rid of them. I told him no thanks and hung up.

Sombody phoned last night. Very strong ssiatic accent. Calls himself Peter and work's for microsoft.My computer has a virus, so he is telling me. I should turn on my computer and then he would show me what has to be done about that. I said: I don't think so and hung up the phone.
He was calling from this # 1-607-734-9187

Got Multiple phone calls from multiple numbers. Same scam- Indian guy saying my computer has been infected by virus. I had enough and decided to play- I started to cry and say "my computer has a virus"? Is it serious? Omg, what am I going to do? Is it going to die? Does it needed an operation? Will Facebook die? He was at a loss and said , no ma'am, not like this in his heavy duty accent. I started wailing mad fake crying and I asked how long it had to live. His response? 4 months!! Kept going on and on, he finally hung up.
