I got the same call today at 6:08 pm from the same charmer doing the smoke alarm routine.    When I told him I didn't give out any info over the phone, he actually threatened me with never-ending telemarketing calls "until the day you die, bi***".

The caller I.D. display showed AMPRO.  Star 69 gave me 215-215-2151.  

I'd hate to think what happens when a child answers one of his calls.

I got the same call just now from a male caller with an Indian accent who said he was calling from GE & it was not a sale call. He asked me a question about smoke detectors and asked to be put on the do not call list. He said no. I asked again and he said no and then made a number of rude comments and hung up.

Twice now this person called claiming to be someone associated with GE.  Woman with accent in very noisy room--talked very slowly.  She also sounded a bit slow.  I hung up immediately.

They called telling me I had $8000 in credit card debt.  When I denied it they asked about my medical debts which I don't have.  When I asked to speak to the manager they hung up.

I got a similar song and dance: Male with Indian accent identifying himself as GE.  Do you remember when we called you with a survey about smoke detectors?  "No."  He described the survey in more detail and asked again if I remembered.  "No."  Then he went into his scam.  "Have I got a deal!  As a result of the survey, you have been selected to receive a free $1200 GE security system."  I immediately guffawed and loudly.  And I proceeded to ream him out.  (I'm sure reaming didn't do any good, but it made me feel better.)  He terminated the call quickly -- like he's gotten reamed out before.  Reverse look-up identifies the owner of the number as being in Binghamton, NY.  There are a number of call-center companies in the area.

i actually got a call from the same number today but didnt answer cause i was in class.

thats the exact call i got a couple weeks ago. he said someone in my household had called and done the survey. i told him that he was wrong cause i live in a dorm, hence no household. then he asked to speak to the home owner so i told him that there would need to be a home for there to be a home owner. so he hung up.

I just received a call from 607-821-1000, it was a male speaking in what sounded like an Indian accent.  He claimed that someone in my home, even though he called my cell phone, had taken a recent survey from GE.  He claimed that my number had won a GE Security System, I didn't give him a  chance to ask any personal information.  When I asked him where he had gotten this number (my cell) and told him that I WAS NOT INTERESTED, and to REMOVE my number from whatever list he had, he started yelling and CHANTING.... THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY, THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY, THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY, repeatedly and louder each time.  When attempting to call it back I got a fast busy signal, I tried dialing it from my home phone and my cell, using *67 on each and also without.

Somebody claiming to be from GE. Asked me a few questions about smoke detectors and security systems, then asked for a bunch of personal information I didn't feel like giving out. Then they called my home phone number saying I won something, and tried getting more information from me. Hung up when I told them I rented, not owned, my apartment.

Still keeps calling and hanging up.

This guy is also calling from 6078211152 and only will speak to women i try to talk to him and he hangs up

Recieved a call on March 14 around 8:50pm from this number and when I answered they hung up.  Happened twice.  When I called it back from a restricted number - stated this number is no longer in service...

Got a call from 607-821-1000. Caller was an Indian person who claimed to work for GE and was not calling with a sales pitch. When asked who he was trying to contact he hung up.
