Shills are back. Funny how legit companies don't have to pay shills like this to defend their company, that dubious privilege is reserved for SCAMS.
Ihe truth is that this is a scam. It is actually becoming common knowledge, with every shill posting like yours it is even more obvious!

What a mistake I made! My mistake was not finding out all the information before I made a comment. So many people are doing that these days. Betsy Fagen is a Regional Vice President with Primerica. Primerica is fights for the avergage person in life. This is a great company. I can't remember the who said it, but: At first the truth is vehemently opposed, then reluctlently accepted, and finally accepted as common knowledge.

I received a call from Betsy Fagen and met with her for an interview. She is a Regional Vice President with Primerica. Primerica is a company traded on the NYSE under the symbol PRI. It's been in business since 1977 and helps average people reach their financial goals. I'm starting with the company part-time and considering making a career change if things go well. I checked with the BBB and Primerica has an A+ rating.

I recevied a call from "Betsy Fagen" on 5/5/08 from 608 442 9601 at 0926AM which was left on my answering machine and my caller ID. I've been keeping this record of the phone call and the message since because I was so curious as to who gave her my name. I'd been out of work only 2 weeks. I had not submitted my resume to anyone. The only professional organization that knew I was out of work was the "Union" office in Madison which I'm required to report to. The message she left was "I am currently handling a business expansion and doing some interviewing". Today I decided to look further on line to see if anyone had encountered this strange phone call. Very surprised to find this website.

Have been playing phone tag with this Betsy lady all week. Left me a message about expanding her company and wanted to know if I'm still looking for opportunities. Her voice sounds very professional and casual so it seemed real. Every time I called her, she was out, but always returned my call. After typing in her name and seeing this, I called her and told her not to contact me any longer. Dont bother with this lady...

I got the same call. I almost didn't call back because of what I read here, but decided to anyway. I had an interview with the company. It's Primerica, a Citi Company. Citi is Citigroup, the largest company in the world. I found an article online from the Wall Street journal saying Primerica is a $7 billion company. I don't think the opportunity's for me, but the company is legit.

I received the same message on 7/22/08, I didn't think anything of it. I did realize she didn't say what company she was from, but I returned the phone call today, she didn't answer, so I left a message. Glad I decided to google the number, now I know if she calls back to just ignore it. Thanks everyone.

6/19/08 Ms. Betsy Fagen gave me a ring today saying all the things mentioned in the posts I've read here...expanding business, blah blah blah, came across your resume and know you're looking for a new opportunity, blah blah blah. Didn't return the call, don't plan on it judging from what I've seen here.B

I've rec'd the exact same scripted message from TWO Primerica Franchise owners in the same day: "expanding my business...your resume came across my desk...are you still looking for new opportunities..." - this is the scripted solicitation of Primerica a division of Citigroup. Besty Fagen is connected to # (608) 442-9601. My resume is also out on careerbuilder.com...so, unless you're interested in a very entry level/structured financial planning position (also selling insurance)...then you may not want to return the call.

just got the same call. resume out on career builder, hasn't returned my message.

I got a call about an expanding business and she asked if I was still looking for an opportunity. I did call Betsy Fagen back, but it sounded suspicious. So here I am looking her up and I can't connect her to any business... yay for B.S.

Received the same voicemail from Betsy and no business name. Just to call back.
Very weird!! And I am not going to bother call back.

I got a call today on my cell phone so I found it very interesting that they said they knew I was looking for a job. My resume is out on Career Builder (which since I did that I've been getting lots of scam email from foreign countries) so I thought it could have been ligit, but when I asked her a second time for the name of the company she was a little quite. She said City Company. Then I asked her where she got my name and again very vague and quite. In fact I don't even know what she said. I told her I wasn't interested and hung up. After hanging up I realized that my home number is listed, not my cell on my resume so where the heck did they get this number.
I did get a call several months ago with the same time of message...."responsible for hiring....conducting interviews next week...." same script and I googled the number and Primerica
came up. Google that and you find the words scam, fraud, etc.

Received a voicemail stating my resume came across her desk and if I was still interested in a new opportunity- telemarketing at it's worst
Ken A 2008-02-22 23:27:00 Unknown
received a call on message machine talking about "expanding business opportunities"...very vague...left a message back and there was no business name on her answering machine...googled number for address and it's in a house in a madison suburban area 139 Craig Avenue...sounds like a come on scheme for selling insurance
JEFF 2007-12-19 19:55:40 Unknown
recieved the same message, just returned message to her number...curious.

I got the same call on 12/18 from Betsy Fagen. THe voice message said her company was doing a business expansion and she received my name as someone who might be interested. I haven't returned the call yet, but I just assumed it was a head hunter who had been given my name.
Jim 2007-12-17 12:03:13 Unknown
received a single call from this number during business hours. seemed reasonable. she left a name and return number but no business name or reason for calling. outgoing voice message was the same voice and sounded legit but absolutely no response after that. very odd.
