>> Please make them stop. <<
We cannot do that.
YOU must take action to do that!
The DNC list does not automatically block calls. Instead, it provides a list of "do not call" phone numbers to legitimate telemarketers who pay a fee for the list.
The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations, charities and companies with preexisting business relationships, but these organizations might have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).
The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those people do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
Its purpose is to stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.

925-201-6137 calls my cell, which is registered with the DNCR, multiple times a week. I've told them the # is on DNCR & reminded them to cease & desist calling. I've asked them to cease & desist calling. They're not complying. HELP! Please make them stop.

I am on several do not call lists and have requested that this particular company stop contacting me several times. They keep on doing so and it is now a problem.

Just got yet another call from these jerks - they left a message - a "click" when I reviewed the latest "message." It's only going to get worse with these jerks as summer approaches and the sun is out longer. If they come to my door, I just open it with my German Shepherd standing next to me and say, "I'm not interested in solar power." I do this before they can even say PG&E or solar anything.
The last clown saw the sign by my door that shows a picture of a German Shepard and the statement. "I don't call 911." Apparently he rang the doorbell, saw the sign and got completely off the porch while he waited for someone to answer the door. LOL

Constant calls that do not leave voicemail.
Oakland residence 2014-03-10 15:24:02 Unknown
This number calls during the day, but does not leave a message or answer when I lift receiver.
Dave 2014-01-31 04:16:20 Unknown
Same thing. How can someone from a disconnected number call me? I'm on the DNC list
Kathy 2014-01-30 23:29:03 Unknown
They are calling my underage son's phone and asking for his father. And, when I called back it says the number is disconnected.
shirley 2014-01-30 18:57:50 Unknown
phone rang, went to voice mail, no message, just hung up
tricia 2014-01-30 03:50:56 Unknown
I'm having the same problem with that number
Zingboom 2014-01-29 19:08:32 Unknown
When I answer, there's no on there and I'm disconnected. When I call back, AT&T says this isn't a working number.

The caller claimed to be from NREC (when I asked, the National Renewable Energy Center), and said they were a referral service for PG&E. I asked if they specifically represented PG&E. They said yes. I asked for their phone number, and he gave it to me: 1-877-593-2995. Calling that number does put you into voicemail for NREC. However, I also checked with PG&E and they confirmed NREC does not represent them, and PG&E has no relationship with any other company to sell energy services.

These people won't stop calling me...I pick up and then it hangs up

The "National Renewable Energy Center" is a telemarketing front for A1 Solar Power, a solar company with several branches throughout California.

Ken is correct, they use several 925-201-XXXX numbers. I did answer once and got the same spiel as everyone else. I told her I had a tile roof and they could not install solar on that type of roof so not to call me again since I would not re-roof for their convenience. She hung up. I have been called several time since then, including today so do not expect them to quit calling.

i reported them to ftc. my number is registered as do not call. i suggested you renew if you haven't yet.
try T-Lock 2013-12-07 01:27:00 Unknown
I just lift the hand set and hang up as quick as I lifted it... then I hit the blacklist button on my T-Lock,,, another number that will not ring my phone as the T-Lock call blocker can block up to 1000 numbers.... I wish it would also jolt electricity back thru the line to completely short out there equipment - then I would be really REALLY happy, but for now, at least this IDIOT (whoever this SCAMMER is - you know a low life of the lowest order) will NEVER call me on that stupid BOGUS number... they are all LIARS and should be all in Jail for life with no parole. These people all have a hubris nature and should be all JAILED from there scamming ways ? my advice buy a T-Lock call blocker; you can also block up to 10 area codes; but I wish it was a few hundred area coded but you can block 1000 numbers? when a call comes in like this, just hit the blacklist button and your phone won?t ring again. However if you have other phones that ring in the home you will need to shut those ringers off and put the T-Lock on the phone with the ringer,, the T-Lock will block it for that phone so that phone will not ring as the T-Lock is the first thing from your phone jack line, if you have your other phone plugged in to phone jacks around the house you would hear one ring? that is the flaw, but it works and one phone is enough to ring in the home. Nothing is perfect but this is better than nothing, at least you can stop these idiots and have some peace of mind and control on this matter; unfortunately that was not one of the area codes I have block, I already have 201, 202, 206, 240, 424, 480, 530, 678, 760 & 773? so if any number has this area code the T-Lock block the number. If a call new scammer call comes in; it will ring, but again after the ring just hit blacklist and well-LA?. Jerk-a-node avoided forever? if you want help and still don?t get it how to beat these idiots; just go to youtube and put in ?T-LOCK CALL BLOCKER? and click on the video and you will see what I am talking about? hey we have to help each other regain some sanity?

They called, no one spoke, I tried calling back 4 times (home & cell phone) it sometimes rings & just disconnects the call. I wish these PG&E people would stop calling, I know I don't qualify to have lower rates.

Received a call on 11/5/2013 from this telemarketer. I believe that this is the same outfit that has called me 7 times since 9/28 from the following numbers: 201-6133, 3 times; 201-6134, 1 time; 201-6153, 1 time; 201-6143, 1 time; and 201-6137 on 11/5. As previously reported, they claim to be National Renewable Energy Center, i. e. Solar. Someone indicated that they call to get information to send a rep. from A1 Solar Power. Everytime they call, they do not leave a message or say Hello several times and then hang up. They probably have a whole string of phone numbers to use. It is too bad that the Feds are totally incapable of doing anything about it.

They just called and represented themselves as being from PG&E. When I specifically asked if they were from PG&E, she said they were an organization that works with utility companies. I listened a little longer to her explain that they'd send out a certified agent to inspect the house for solar. I said I'm not interested in solar and asked to be removed from their call list. She hung up before I was even done with my sentence. I'm filing a complaint with the FTC.

Just called me, real nasty sounding lady verified my name and hung up. I filed a complaint with the FTC and you should too if you have time!
Fed Up with this caller 2013-11-05 18:43:13 Unknown
called back and it was busy
Called -- left a message on voicemail with no words..just air no voice
How can they keep calling if we are on a do not call list?
Upset 2013-11-05 17:35:30 Unknown
Called asking for my deceased mother, then hung up. I tried to call back but it was a busy tone.
Twelve Fifteen 2013-11-05 17:10:45 Unknown
Represents themselves as being from PG&E calling regarding 'energy survey'. NOT from PG&E. Hung up before they could go on.
JJ 2013-11-05 00:15:14 Unknown
said they were from PG&E, told them I've asked to be on their do not call list and they quickly hung-up
Jane 2013-11-05 00:08:31 Unknown
Be wary....knows your name but hangs up. Possible/probable ID thief.
