These people have been calling for weeks. Sometimes twice a day. I have answered a couple of times,but no one at the other end. This is very annoying!!

They have called me every weekday for 3 weeks. I answered a couple of times but there was only silence. What a bunch of dillweeds.

That would be a question for your service provider.  AT&T wireless will happily tell you that you
can block numbers if you buy a blocking service from them.  Not on your side, obviously.
They're probably glad to see all this spam, because they can then charge the victims.

Is there anyway to block this number on my cell phone? I never answer it and they never leave a message. They call a couple times a day. I am on the Do not call registry.

I had forgotten. Don't sign up for a drawing with HOME IMPROVEMENT. They call ya like a telemarketer, trying to sell you what you told them you would like to win. Even if they say you won, you would have to pay a percentage to get you prize/construction work and materials. Thanks to this web site information. I had gotten talked into signing up my contact information at a Home and Garden show. They leave their jars around at Malls and places too for people to give them their contact information. I dont need work on my house from strangers. Never again. Of course that is what i said a.few.years ago. Cheers !!! Mabe they are a good deal, but nobody wants a bunch of bothering phone calls. Thanks.

Here it is...Friday eve. I work from home and contract out my services for collecting bad debt during the evening hours for a legal firm in Mpls.  I immediately saw it was a Western part Wisconsin area code and hoping it was a potential client. I answered, but no response. With caller ID I returned the call and of course music.
I stayed on the line and a nice person answered representing his/her company of employment. It's apparently a call center in WI.  From what I gathered, the people that are being called had visited home improvement stores such as Menards, Lowes, Home Depot in St. Cloud, MN, and placed their name and telephone number on a stupid piece of paper "HOPING" they were going to win something? It usually doesn't work that way.  "BUT I DID WIN A ROBO CALL!!"
I was asked if I was that person on the piece of paper of "HOPE".  No! and it appears that person on the piece of paper couldn't remember his/her cell number.
So anyway, feed your dog "HOPE", see how long it will live, and remember your cell phone number so "IDIOTS" like whoever they may be, don't waste others peoples time.

Just got a call from this number... no message left. It said it is from Evanstead, WI.

calls n nobody says anything n hangs up

I got calls from this phone number a couple of times. But they did not tell me anything. I called back and it was music.

Called me just now. Nobody on the other line.

They called me last night, then hung up when I answered.

Called asking for first name only.  When I did not tell them if they had the correct # or not but instead answered their question with "Who is this?".  The guy said, "Ok, I will call back at a better time." and hung up.  SCAM ARTIST I assume.

Called at 2:42 PM on 11/26/12. I answered, heard the other lady say hello and then softly "oh s*** they answered" and hung up. I am assuming telemarketer.

constantly calling my phone and leaving no message. I'm not going to pick up for numbers I don't know.

I have rec'd 2 calls with no voicemail. I called back and they knew my name and it was a home improvement company. I told them not to call again.

ya they just called me also saying I entered some contest and won.  I missed the name of the company if you call them back they know your name right away
