This is another phony charity scammer using a free Google number to avoid detection. These scam outfits pocket almost all the money they collect and the charities receive pennies on the dollar. It may be legal but it's unethical and scammy.

I receive frequent calls from this number. Of the ones I'm home to answer they've identified themselves as calling on behalf of the Childhood Leukemia Foundation. They seem to be soliciting for donations. At first I was cordial saying I did not wish to donate. However they continued on calling me almost daily. They never leave messages when I'm not home. After receiving two calls from this number in a single day I asked them to discontinue calling me. They did not comply and have continued to call me despite my request. If this is truly a charity they do not operate in a professional manner. If this is a telemarketer calling on behalf of a charity their callers seem to be unaware that they are violating FTC guidelines and may subject their company to fines for their continuing calls.

Called stating they were a "professional charity" collecting for Leukemia. I tried a number of times to get the person to stop talking. I finally had to yell and they stopped. I told them I work at home and only answer the phone to make sure it isn't work related and to please not call me again.

This number called minutes ago. I work at home on computer and have telephone caller ID. When I do not recognize a number I immediately Google what I see in the screen. Looks like another nuisance call. They did not leave a message.

Called - Answered - punched in ############## - heard in the back ground that they really
love to hear people pushing buttons. Apparently there was an online person but I don't do phone
solicitations anyway, so no loss there.
Pretty soon the landline will be obsolete-- Uuuugh - then what. !!!

Got a call claiming to be some child wish-type organization. I started to tell him (said his name was Tommy) that we get calls like that all the time and he hung up on me. I don't thing that legitimate charities handle calls by hanging up on people.

Unknown number so I didn't answer. Caller left no message. This happened twice from this number.
