Somehow they got my dad's number and said that I won a dinner for too.. had no clue where o would have registered for such a thing. After reading the post I did sign up for Davids bridal but a few weeks ago I canceled the subscription.  But the major thing still is how they got my father's phone number!? Now he's expecting dinner!

I continue to receive calls from this number and I do not want them calling me anymore.

I received a phone call about 2 mins ago saying that I had some sort of free bridal gift to goto the local Hampton in here in San Diego I thought it was strange because she knew my wife and I full names

Got a call from this number tonight and a woman named Heidi left a voicemail stating I had a free wedding package waiting for my fiancee and I and to return her call to claim it. I've been married for four years, so it's been longer than that since I purchased anything for my wedding, but I did buy a dress from Alfred Angelo this month for my sister's wedding. Not certain but maybe this is how they got my information since I haven't had any dealings with any other wedding related shop since my own wedding four years ago. Do not answer or return this call, it's a scam for sure.

I got that same number at first I didn't pick it up they left a message and ask for Rochelle. Totally NOT my name then they call back and ask for Rachael... again not my name. My name starts with a C  completely totally on the other end of the alphabet geez people. Gee you have my number at least get my name right

i have gotten over 15 calls from these people, and not once have i answered!! Me and my soon to be mother in-law went to a bridal expo a few months ago and they had a booth there. I did not sign up for it because I was not interested, but they and 264,389 other businesses that were at the expo have called/text/emailed me when I have not given them my info. This dinner for two place even called my in-laws about our "free gift" that they only have had 20 left of in the past 2 months lol. I finally called back and told them not to call me any more

I got the same call and they have called consistently for 3 days and I just ignore the call. I too registered at David's bridal and the knot. I am also confused as to how they got ahold of my cell number. They are driving me crazy with the non stop calls. It has even been twice a day some days.

Got a voicemail stating they are holding a bridal package for me and have only 40 left ......... yeah ok. Lol. Unlike everyone here never went to David bridal but did sign up on the knot  but didn't provide my#.

PS:  Haven't purchased anything from David's Bridal for at least three years.  Not sure that's where they are getting people's info.

Dinner For Two package for me and my fiance - which I don't happen to have, so I'm not signed up with wedding sites.  Not sure how I landed on their list.

Same thing everyone else is saying... The called started right after I bought my dress from David's Bridal... They have also been sending me emails... They want me to go to the bad part of town to pick up my prize, offering free wedding bands or a trip, and a few other things... "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

NEVER register with David's Bridal! EVER! They give (or sell) your number with EVERYBODY! Have reamed David's and have recommended to all my friends to stay the F away from them!

Came home to find PRIVATE NAME and the # 608-663-6138 on my caller ID. They left no message on my answering machine.
I'm not getting married and have never done any business with David's Bridal nor any bridal registry for that matter. I'm on the national do not call registry and re-register every year just to make sure. Seems to me if they were a legitimate company they would honor the do not call list like all non-charity and non-governmental businesses are legally required to do.  

Blame David's Bridal for that one.

Just received a call from this number - told me about a bridal package they have for me also about a culinary demonstration that was available for me & my fiance to view.   Sorry but have been married for two months now.............& guess where I bought my dress, David's Bridal........................

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. My sister fell for this when she was getting married. When to this thing about buying pots and pans for a free trip... Ended up buying these pots and pans and the total kept going up everyday. It started from $1000.00 and she was paying it off monthly. But the total just kept going up! I got this call yesterday and knew exactly what it was. It's a scam.

They are trying to sell you a pot and pan set.  Very expensive one.  If you sit through there spee, they give you a free trip.   But you have to pay for the flight.

Been getting the bridal package for years.  If you answer and listen to the message they give...  As soon as you tell them  to take you off their list, all of a sudden..  Their voicemail is full.  Ridiculous.

I got this call once and only once. I typed the number into google and stumbled upon this page. I wouldn't go as far to not work with David's Bridal ever again. They have actually been really great to me. It isn't the bridal store's fault that they have a scam leaching off of their register list. However, it is a super easy fix. If you go into their privacy policy, it tells you this:

You may request that we remove you from our telephone marketing list and refrain from sharing your telephone number with third parties by logging into your Service account and updating your preferences concerning advertising communications from us and third parties. You may also make such a request by sending us an e-mail addressed to remove@dbi.com. Please reference Telephone List Removal in your subject line and include your telephone numbers in the body of your email. You may also write to us at David's Bridal, Inc., 1001 Washington Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428, Attn: Privacy Officer.

I haven't received a call since...

My Wife gave Davids Bridal her email address and phone # like a noob would.
You deserve these scams.  Have fun changing your #.
Next time read the fine print or don't be an idiot by sharing your information !

I received the same voice mail. Thing is... I'm not engaged. I've been in several weddings & bought dresses through David's Bridal, but I am not a bride-to-be. Think they know who I'm marrying & when?

The only thing I have registered for since my recent engagement is David's Bridal.  So I'm 99% sure these people got my information from David's Bridal.

I am as sceptical as everyone else these days...but I did return the phone call...I called the number they called from not the 800 number.  It sounds pretty ligit and may be worth the time to check it out.  All the info she gave me is verified by the websites...unfortunately we are getting married next saturday and finding the time to get to EauClaire just doesn't fit in my schedule.

Just received a back to back phone call.  It stated this, " Hi Jessica, this is ?(Lyvel)? calling from the bridal registry and we have a bridal package here for you and your fiancee.  For details please call us at (800) 6764731, thank you and congratulations."

Sounds like a scam but considering a few have said "free stuff" I may call just to see.

I got this call too and listened to my vm but didn't call back.  If you look at the comments from Cassie on June 20th she did go and said she got free stuff and it seemed like a pleasant enough experience

I have been receiving calls from this number for months! I never answer, sometimes they leave a message and sometimes they don't. Once the woman called and left like 5 messages. Super annoying. It started happening to me and another bride-to-be friend after we attended a bridal show. I did get my dress from David's Bridal too but she did not. SO ANNOYING! I wonder if they take the hint if you tell them you are already married.

Funny, I just recently registered on Davids Bridal website and now I too am receiving calls... I believe the women said her name was Jennifer but she spoke so fast I could barely understand her... What I did catch was congratulations on your engagement please call to meet and reserve your package.... Third call today...
