Received 2 call from this number around noontime, one 5 days ago and a second 3 days ago.  I let it go into voicemail, because the number is unknown to my household.  No message had been left in either case.

I just picked up the phone and then hung up immediately.  Then I blocked this number.

Just got a call from same number, caller ID states New Jersey, no message left.

This is the 3ed time they called and left no message. When I pick up no answer.

called in afternoon. hung up when I picked up after 3 rings.

This number has called me twice in the past week... when I answer, there is no one there and then the phone hangs up.

I didn't answer to see who it was.  Last week got a similar number: 609-188-5400

Likewise: the chances of a legitimate (non-marketing) caller making three calls to three random folks within 40 minutes is rare, so I'm definitely going to block this number.
