You cannot call 407=976-6317 back as it is says calls to this number are not premitted. The caller purports to be notifying the recipient that one has won a trip to Disney.

They called me yesterday and this evening. I answered the last call and some dorky sounding guy by the name of Christian asks for my claim number. I already knew this call for some bogus cruise to Disney World. I said to the caller that I have my claim number right here. I gave the caller a bunch of fake random numbers and he asks me to wait a minute. He comes back and says that I've won a free trip to Orlando Florida to Disney World. I pretend to be real excited to the caller and then the caller asks for a credit card. I said ok and gave him a fake credit card number. He thanks me and then asks for my name, address, phone number and drivers license number. I provided the stupid, little prick with all fake information and he thanks me again and says that I'll be receiving my cruise tickets in the mail within 4 to 6 weeks! I pretended to be super excited the whole time on the phone about this "free trip I'd just won." The caller thanks me again and hangs up.

I just got a call from this number and I pressed 3 as per the recording to speak with someone. A man by the name of "Christian" answers. Immediately he asks for "my claim number." I said to him, "what's this in reference to?" He asks again for "my claim number." I said, "what claim number?" He sighs and hangs up on me.

When they called me and told me I won a dream vacation to Disney I said, what a coincidence, you just won a 20 year nightmare trip to Levenworth, ya Didwad!
Emma Winner 2012-12-27 21:44:50 Unknown
Haven't you ever won a contest before that you never entered??? I haven't either even though these cretins try to make you think you did.
Randy Rongweigh 2012-12-27 21:42:54 Unknown
No they don't. You need to answer the phone and say something like "A$$HOLES Anonymous, Would you like to join? You would fit right in!" Plus, since it is a completed call, they get to pay for it.

The DoNotCall registry is just another government program to give jobs to people who cannot perform simple tasks or even get hired to clean cages.
Reggie Mental 2012-12-27 21:35:00 Unknown
Don't waste you time. The DNC registry and complaint process works about as well a congress does with its budgeting and spending.

Weekly calls. Will not stop. I work from home and they call in the middle of the day. The joke is they are wasting their time since I will not buy, but they keep calling!
Cindy1213 2012-12-20 17:40:28 Unknown
Thank you so much! I did not know about this *60. It took the number. Fingers crossed! They are a pain in the a***. If you try to call back it states that this call cannot be completed as dialed. Ugh! :(

These bastar..s call every week. Use to call more than that but anybody without a name I do the instant hangup. About 30 minutes later I get a second call from a different number but they seem to follow each other.
I was getting 15 marketing calls a week. I instant hangup on all of them. After about three months I only get two calls a week - and this number is one of them.

We are on the donotcall list and that has not helped at all. We receive calls all day, every day from various numbers and as of today we received a call from 407-976-6317 and they did not leave a message.
preserve 2012-12-15 20:03:42 Unknown
I block these with Google Voice. Google eventually gets these numbers into their database and blocks them automatically. You must have an option with your phone provider to ring two phones concurrently, which I do with Vonage VoIP. Google answers after 5 rings, my phone voice message answers after 4. Google records every call however. After the first unanswered call I mark it BLOCK on the Google Voice URL, then no more calls from them on your phone. You have to block JUNK calls yourself, the government can't do it for you. It would cost more than Obama Care if they did.

Disney is not sending the messages. They are being sent by thieves pretending to be from Disney. Disney is not able to stop the calls.
Joe F. 2012-12-15 08:50:24 Unknown
Yes, Boycott Disney. These clowns have made millions of illegal calls in the last year, hoping to get a few sales for Disney. Just because Disney is likely not making the calls directly doesn't mean they aren't responsible.
A responsible company would refuse to pay for these third-party referrals. At best, Disney turns a blind eye to how these clowns are working. At worst, Disney has hired them.
So, yeah, I will never again consider a trip to Disney. Hopefully my kids won't be disappointed, but Disney is not a reputable company.

For a scammer the Do Not Call List law is just one more law to break. No one can stop the calls. For your cell phone contact your provider to see if they can be blocked. If they are calling your land line use one of the call blockers several people on this site recommend.

call from
407-976-6317 unwanted
asterisk 2012-12-14 20:40:35 Unknown
An asterisk Pbx phone system will stop them,
I use Elastix here. I scripted a recording to
play 3 tones, short-short-long, then play a
recording, then repeat.
( I know, I know, some of them are machines,
and can't understand a recording, but at least
we are never bothered by the callers)
None of our extensions ring, we are never
disturbed by the call, and that is only for
the analogue line, we still have 3 other lines
we use so if we were using the phone it would
use one of the other 3.
Try asterisk! :)

my phone is register under gov.com, why does this still happen, these people and charge you when you call back get busy who's ever job is stop these . thank

Disney is not making the calls. The calls are coming from a scammer pretending to work for Disney. The scammer is probably calling from outside the US, out of reach of US law enforcement. Disney cannot stop them. The US governement cannot stop them.
Disney is not breaking the DNC list law. Boycotting Disney will not reduce the number of calls.
