ARS Debt Collection.  Yep, they're a**** all right.  They call non-stop for one of our employees, despite my telling them to stop calling and try to reach him at home.  I do not forward those calls per company policy.

This number is a big scam from New Jersey. They have called me several times without leaving a message. They are just annoying scammers of some kind.

These people have called my house twice looking for my ex-husband. I called their 866-932-6717 number and explained to the guy that they are looking for my ex (of 21 years) and, No, I don't have any info on him. The guy assured me they'd take my number out of their system. We'll see.

and they violate consumer credit collection protection laws by leaving personal information about debt on your answering machine. They think that by saying "don't listen to this message if you are _____..." will get around the laws.

called at 16:11 AST, and supposedly left a message...when I played the message back it had a phone ringing and being answered by someone who then kept asking for me but never left a message why.  This sounds like a common sort of telemarketing scam as has been mentioned in other posts.  The number is now on my automatic reject list.

These people have called me 2 days in a row now trying to get information on my child and they pretend to be from HSBC. DO NOT GIVE THEM SO MUCH AS YOUR ADDRESS!!! They will try to give you a false 1-866 # to call and verify their validity... they are lying. I, too, have called the number back and it does go to a voice mail of a Dave Adams. This is a cell phone number registered in Woodberry, NJ. You need to file an Intelligence Report with your local police department if they call you - even if you don't give them any information... you never know what these people can do with what information they do have. It's best to have a record of the incident. Take notes of your conversation, i.e. names, dates, times of the phone calls, any information they will give you even if you think they are lying. Whatever you do, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.

I received a call from this number? I called number from an alternative cell phone. The name Dave Adams was mentioned on a message system at 609-221-0274

Called this morning @ 8:50am PT, left no message, don't know anyone in new jersey.
