This guy is a craigslist scammer... want's to buy "item' and have you send the shipper the overpayment.

This is a classic scammer. He tried to buy a high dollar item with a fraud cashiers check for a much higher dollar amount with the intention of having me deposit it, pull out the difference and send it back to him. Had i dont that, the bank would have not caught it was fake until weeks later and would have held me responsible and the guy would have been long gone with my money and item. His English and grammar became decreasingly proper and he seemed very unwilling to give me details about to where and to whom my item was to be shipped until after the check was deposited. I quickly canceled the transaction. Do NOT do business with this person.
