Unsolicited call, I do not answer ph # call not in my data base. A look up shows protential scam.

here is what I do:

if the call does not connect, it is because the autodialer did dial but an agent was not 'ready' yet to get it.
Autodialers are forbidden to cell phones, I log the call (I always save my cell call logs)

if there is an answer, and it is a survey:
keep the surveyor on the phone as long as possible, I show real interest, pride that I was selected, talk much, but give nothing in return

these ppl who work this kind of work are graded on
call length
call result (long call with no result =  less $$ and bad points which eventually leads to termination)
call quality and content (everything is listened to live by supervisors at any time)

while them companies show no respect, make their worker turnover high: each time they have to terminate an employee for bad statistics, they incur cost.

ruin the caller's statistics!

if everyone would do that they would soon be stopping what they do

aggressiveness plays into their hand (they know right away 'no business' and can end the call and move on)
hanging up is what they want: they can move to the next call

holding them as long as possible, ruining their call stats is the way to get rid of these pests by forcing them to turn over employees

... and never give any information, not even false one, because any information gathered is not checked and the call center agent gets good points.

Didn't say anything when I answered... I just filled out a few job applications online earlier this week so I was thinking that maybe it was related to that. No idea...

I got 3 calls from this number, one every hour for the last 3, they left no message. They are from New Jersey as per comments I have read. I'm going to report it to the "Do NOT Call registry" It's the only thing we can do with these azzholes.

Number keeps calling me, leaves NO message...have a block against these type of calls but still receive them...WHY !!!

I received a call from 609-279-0110 (B.R. Interviewing). Because I was eating I did not answer but for pests like this I usually pretend to cooperate and then ask them to wait a moment. I proceed to put the phone down and walk away. I don't know how long they listen to my background noise and I don't care.

Received their call just befor 7 PM on Fri 6/28/13.

Company is PR Interviewing and the conduct surveys for various businesses.
This gentleman was looking for any male age 18-?? living in the household to survey about the IL Lottery.
I said there were no males fitting that category and he was very nice about it.
I decided to press my luck since he was a decent guy and I asked if I could have my number removed from their calling list.  He was very happy to oblige. Just in case, I also saved the number to my phone's black list.

The B R Interviewing website says they are located in Rocky Hill, NJ, but the number traces to the street address in Princeton, which is supposedly in the high rent district near Princeton University.  The website also says they specialize in surveys!  Rocky Hill is several miles Northeast of Princeton, so tie-lines to different locations may be involved.  

This is another indication that everyone must please contact their elected reps in DC to demand strengthened Do Not Call laws, prohibit any type of telemarketing, soliciting or surveys, whether political, charitable, causes or under the guise of anything else (over 90% of funds donated over the phone will go into the pockets of the organizers, and you risk $100s or $thousands of fraudulent charges on your credit card for a $10 donation), prohibit the use of any telephone number not issued by a licensed common carrier (telephone company), or any use of computer-generated or tie-line numbers, with violations carrying severe criminal penalties (fines and imprisonment).  prohibit any calling where the legal name of the caller is not shown on standard Caller Id, no calling before 9 AM or after 7 PM local.  The situation with nuisance, scam callers is totally out of control.  While away for ten days, we received over 30 nuisance, scam calls from 15 different callers, which took up all of the answering machine space!  We need call control, not gun control!

Someone keeps calling from this number and not answering then hangs up.

Called two days ago saying they wanted to ask some questions for "research".  Told them not interested and hung up.  They called again today and no one there. Sounds like a robo call.  Their number is now blocked.
Caller ID says Princeton, NJ.

I think it should be against the law asking the questions they do. to many bad things are happening and you are talking to a stranger.

I suspect they were calling my elderly mother.  They hung up upon hearing me answer.

They called me twice tonight/ I picked up second call and they hung up!

If you happen to answer the phone by mistake keep them on the phone as long as possible.  Act all wishywashy and ask them to repeat questions over and over. Make pretend you can't hear. Do whatever it takes to keep them on the line. Beat around the bush without giving out what they want. It's costing them. Sometimes I make pretend I'm masterbaiting to their voice and give sexual details. lol. If most of the telemarketing operators are tied up with people like me they wouldn't be able to complete many calls per day.

Bottom line is keep them tied up on the line as long as you can.  I also air horn them once in a while :)
