This is a scam...rep told me they have deals with many manufactures, but the rep could not provide any info on my car, maker or were I bought it. The rep then decided to hang up. Be aware its a SCAM!!!

I have figured out what is happening here. These calls are coming from an auto dialer, which I suspect is the same "Warranty" company from whom I have received many calls. Since they use an auto dialer to call, they naturally turn up numbers that are no longer in service. When their auto dialer finds one of these numbers it saves it for future use. The "marketing" company then uses these out of service numbers to spoof their caller ID. They do this because their auto dialer is dialing thousands of random numbers daily, including many which they are not allowed to call, such as cell numbers and numbers on the Federal DNC list. They will not be caught because they will not give any information to you even if you actually answer the call. That's why if you check web sites like this one, there are many calls from the same number (not really) the same day, then it is a different number the next day.
