Any letters received through the US mail containing evidence of some fraud or another should be turned into the US post office with a request that the postal inspector look at it.  

This is clearly mail fraud.  

These Debt Relief Scammers are relentless. They have been sending me mail for two years now, using different names and numbers. There is no way that anyone can save you 40%-70% off on what you owe on your debts WITHOUT ruining your credit. Sadly, someone I know fell for this scam. How it works is that they claim to mediate with your creditors on your behalf, consolidate all your debts into one monthly payment. The catch is that they pay THEMSELVES first! So the $$$ you are allowing them to take out of your bank account every month is going directly to them, and after they are paid in full (about a year or more), then they start to pay your debts. Too late, your credit is ruined, and they made thousands of dollars off you. If you are in trouble with debt, call your creditors and work it out with them yourself - no need to pay a middleman (scammer) for something you can do yourself for free!

I did not get a phone call, but a letter so I looked up the postal permit # and VOILA!! it led me here.  I got an offer to settle my "Past Due Unsecured Debt" of $17,708 for a mere $5,312, but my eligibility expires 6/3/2104.  After reading all the previous posts on this same place, and noting all the similarities, you can add more info to your ever-growing list ... No return address on envelope, incorrect information on my debts, but there is a new phone number of 888-796-4473 and in very tiny print (had to use a magnifying glass) it names The Validation Center.  I hate these blood-sucking leeches!  

The banks put your personal information out there for these sharks to buy out unsecure dept for pennies/dollar.

You can add yet another telephone number to your list -- 888-922-4241 being used by the same people who are using Sacramento, CA US Postal Permit # 1297.  On the mailpiece I received today they are posing as a "Non-Profit" and indicating on their indicia "Presorted Non Profit Mail"  Trying to give the impression that they are a Non-Profit Financial Counseling organization?  

This is the same type of Debt Communication which refers to the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act. and their "new" program designed specifically for me.  They must have read your post as there is no contact deadline this time!

I have been receiving a lot of these mailpieces lately and just shred them but if that is what everyone does these people will never be investigated so decided this time to do a little research and found this website.

A GOOGLE search indicates that this indicia belongs to: the PeriAnesthesia Nurses Association of California (or their mailing agent)  (see: http://panac.org/sites/default/files/pulseline/PulselineSpring2013.pdf)  The PANA Newsletter referred to here did not take advantage of Non-Profit mail rates.

Wonder why the USPS has not caught up with these wonderful people and/or their mailing agent who may be defrauding the USPS.

888-899-4510, 888-354-8913, 800-997-6911, 800-381-3312, 888-295-4951, 888-941-5230, 866-848-5577, and 888-446-6136 are all the SAME SCAM ARTISTS! The company is called Consumer Debt Assistance, but they also go by Modify Loans, Reliant Support Services, and Clear Path Lending. They are located at 16500 Bake Pkwy, 2nd Floor, Irvine, CA 92618. We keep receiving fraudulent postal mailings from them with NO return address listed. Just shows a stamp as PRESORTED FIRST CLASS MAIL, U.S. POSTAGE PAID, SACRAMENTO, CA, PERMIT NO. 1297. Looks like an Official Bill from either the DMV or the IRS, but it is NOT. On the front, it states : 2013 - Important Notice - Benefits Number : CTC####### - You have been pre-approved for a Credit Card Hardship Program. You need to contact Customer Service at 1-888-899-4510 no later than 10/11/2013 to take advantage of Our ZERO UP-FRONT FEES DEBT REDUCTION PROGRAM. Do not hesitate and call now before your pre approval status expires. FAILURE TO RESPOND BEFORE 10/11/2013 MAY AFFECT THE AMOUNT OF DEBT REDUCED. - You'll do well to notice that today is January 13th, 2014 and yet these morons are still sending this out.

Got a mail notice that's says Honda power train warranty on jan 11, 2014.

This company gets publicly available information and then tries to get you to call them. Same permit from Sacramento #1297 sent to me today in Baltimore area telling me my car warranty is about to expire and that I can get an extension from them.  They just grab all kinds of publicly available information and then sell you stuff you don't need.  Bad business.  Bottom feeders.

I received several of these too.  Although I never responded to any of them they keep showing up posing as a Honda representitive.

I also received this postcard. Googled the number and a long list of numbers came up with all the writing in Chinese...??

I called the number on the post card and all the lady would tell me is their located every where, when I asked where they were located. The lady told me their company name is-- Universal Reservation Services.
Which seems to be a very generic company name.  
My opinion is this company is a total scam using all kinds of fake company names to scam people.
I read on one site where this company is a fake collection agency who tried to scam/trick/threaten people
into paying a debt that is not owed.
Again,  BEWARE of these people , this company.

The company wanting me to call them back is some type scam travel agency. I found all kinds
of complaints on the travel agency that's part of the criminal's who are using the same postal permit.

Today I received  a post card wanting me to call 1-888-446-6136.
Talking about cheap airline tickets, motel's, etc.
They are using U.S. Airlines, Alamo's, and Travcelocity's copmany logo's without their permission
which is against the law. A big indicator this company is a scam since they are breaking federal law
concerning company logo's.
I'd reccomend staying away from this scam company.
I found another website where this scam company is selling credit card interest rate reduction service which is a scam. The list of scams this company isdoing is long.

Have a been holding on to a letter that doesnt have a business or company name on it and no address. It says that I have been pre-approved for a credit card hardship program to take care of our zero up front fees debt reduction.  

all i got for an address and phone is...it is in Sacramento, CA  Permit NO. 1297 1-888-295-4951. I will deal with it later and keep it on hold once I make sure my accounts havent been tampered with. I havent called either was going to til I found this post. Thanks.

It is odd, cuz i have been diagbosed with cancer and was worried about my bills.  but, i see there is a hardship plan with the actaul credit cards i own. from getting this letter. maybe i will try that in 6 months if I cant keep up with medical and debt.

It was a debt collector.

Sacramento permit #1297 claims I owe $20,000 in credit card debt.  Not true.  Have had other letters from what appears to be the same entity.  Current contact number is 888-941-5230.  Looked on Spokeo, Yahoo, and White pages reverse phone lookup each time a 'notice' arrived.  The number can not be located and/or does not exist.  Since it lacks the Who (their company name and to whom the said debt is owed), What (the type of company making the contact), When (date supposed debt occurred), and Where (their address and address where supposed debt is owed) which leaves me with Why (needless to say it looks like bait, acts like bait, stinks like bait, and disguises it's true purpose like bait) it is most certainly a scam or phishing.  NO THANKS

Received letter to Call 1-866-848-5577 about collection on revolving accounts in excess of $40,000.  We have no balances on any accounts on any of the three reporting agencies.  Robert who answered phone at CCCHP( no info available on internet) couldn't give any pertinent info about which creditor was involved.  Involved letter came from Sacramento CA Permit #1297.  

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.  

Will be reporting to appropriate authorities tomorrow.

Received a similar fake letter from the same address in Sacramento, CA with Permit #1297 about a pending lawsuit against my mortgage company.  Wants me to call 877-454-7503 with a file number PA###### for more information.
