I've wonder how these people manage to live as long as they do?  Who in their right mind would buy securities (stocks & bonds) & who would be stupid enough to take a job trying to do just that??  I tell you who, why it's DAN from TD Securities who loves to call me about this time every day (although I have had calls with the same script from Mary & Tony who also represent TD Securities!  I don't know if the two are related or not however, 'TD' is the company who bought out The 'Commerce' bank chain in NJ. Couldn't figure-out why they sold out as they were the most popular bank I've ever seen. They probably just use the name to appear legitimate!
Also, please note these calls are only semi-automated. They use the same system the automated calling systems do but they switch to a live operator as soon as they sense the call has been answered, either by an answering box (you can catch them out sometimes because when the call is transferred and you go through that little time (seconds really, though it can seem quite a bit longer, most people say, hello as soon as they answer the call but after saying it once or twice they hear the call switching & think who ever is on the other end just isn't answering & hang-up, but if you wait just a little longer & THEN say hello again you'll usually hear someone say 'Hi, I'm Dan calling from 'TD Securities' how are you today?
If anyone else has had this kind of experience with what appears to be semi-automated calls please let me know as I'm really curious to know if I'm even a little close to right on this one!

Something about the fact you're not having to put up with it alone really does seem to help, kind of the 'misery loves company' or better yet the 'a burden carried by more than one is a burden lessened" that seems like a better descriptor!

Same thing. Phone rings, I answer, no one there.

daily missed call - i do not answer numbers not identified - they leave no message -

The call I received was an automated message, made to sound like a live person, trying to offer me a free home security system from what sounded like "TD Security".  I ended up hanging up since I couldn't tell them to screw off.

Daily hang up calls. No mssg ever left- VERY ANNOYING
