This is very interesting. I googled the number *1-781-854-3176* anf got no result. When i looked for BC Finan Assist I found this column. It's clearly the same thing, and like you all, I do not respond to the unknowns who leave no message; I have not checked for the veracity of this outfit, but I bet myself another cup of coffee that it isn't. 800Notes supplies good answers, and thank you

Got a call this morning with the caller ID of 1-469-206-4700 BC FIN ASST. The person or machine or whatever, sounded as if they were using an electronic larynx. I couldn't understand anything they said...almost eerie! It is a VoIP number out of Dallas Texas.

These folks are nothing but scammers and I advise you not even to pick up the phone. You could report it to the Do Not Call List, the toothless tiger that we all pay for.
The Do Not Call List is such a joke.

The Caller ID said BC FIN ASSIST at 12:40 PM on Jan. 31, 2014 at phone #: 1-609-318-6099. I don't answer any phone calls when I don't recognize the number and when they don't leave a message, I know they're a Telmarketer or want money. I called this number back on Sat. morning (2/1/14) and the message said the phone number was for Breast Cancer Financial Fund and if I wanted my phone number put on their "DO NOT CALL LIST" to press "1" and it would take 30 days to be removed. The message also said that if my phone number was on a "call block or restricted #", then I had to call Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9AM to 6PM Mountain Time. This has to be a scam Fund, setting up a local NJ phone number when your offices are located in the Mountain States. Are the Breast Cancer National Headquarters' Offices really located in a Western USA State? Don't get stuck answering this call!!!

Rang left NO message. Apparently a scam caller with a "spoofed" phone number.
A call back, by me, got the standard Telco recording that the phone number is NOT currently in service. (2 minutes after they initiated the called)

Caller ID is "BC FIN ASSIST", which indicates to me it is yet another one of those phony, scammer, lower-your-interest-rate outfits. They must have a local call bank, as I have received other calls of this nature and the number differs by one or two digits. Report them all, for what it's worth.
