Called and asked to speak with the "controller". I immediately knew this was a sales call. I asked controller of what and he said controller of the finances. I told him I could take a message but he kept asking for a name and I wouldn't give it to him. He started to get really frustrated with me and I finally said "sorry I couldn't help you" and hung up!

Bad stupid company. Tried to get my identity. Scammers!

A guy called from COFACE again. This time asked for the credit manager by name. No doubt he got her name from the internet. He was trying to butter me up  in the beginning and then got frustrated when I told him (honestly) that she is in a meeting and he could leave her a voicemail. I'm sorry sir, this 30 minute window is literally the only time she has a meeting in the work week. He was upset. I'm glad she wasn't there, because I'm sure he has not talked to her in the past like he said. Oh well. I tried.

Michelle from Coface called wanting to speak to the who handled the finances in the building and their name. I said all of our business managers were in a meeting and she hastily replied "okay, well we were seeing if they would like to do business with us" and I told them I could take a message and she replied quickly "I will call another time."

'Craig' called and insisted on speaking to owner or credit manager, but wouldn't be more specific so I could pass him on or whatever.  I AM an owner, but since he wouldn't tell me what he wanted, I got snarky (not abusive) and he hung up on me.  Really?

We don't deal with people who just call us out of the blue.  If we need a service, we go hire someone (locally, if possible) to do the job.

Called asking for someone who hasn't worked here in at least 10 years. Must be a collection agency.

Received a call from a moronic loser demanding information about our company. He wasn't willing to explain the nature of his call and became very hostile and abussive. No wonder really that he's employed making unsolicited phone calls.

Idiots!!!!  told the moron that we had no need of his services...politely.  Informed the brain-dead idiot that we are on the no-call list and politely asked to be removed from his call list...got a "Yea, RIGHT" back.  Obvious Jersey accent.  Unprofessional, stupid and no common sense....yea, like I'd want some dwit like HIM calling my customers on some outstanding accounts. Hope they go out of business soon.

JOSH FROM THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED ABOUT 25 TIMES WITHIN THE PAST WEEK HE WILL NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE OR WILL NOT LET ME JUST TAKE A MESSAGE AND HAVE THE PERSON HE IS LOOKING FOR CALL HIM BACK. HE WILL CALL NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY!

Incoming call from 609-469-0400 was sent to a special extension installed for telemarketers (a/k/a JUNK CALLS).   Happy to have a site such as this to back-up the reason calls are not answered "live".

I missed a call from this number.

It's 7:45 Monday morning.  "Heather" from COFACE called, rudely insisting on speaking w the company owner. I explained that I screen all calls and needed additional info.  She said it was an outstanding credit issue and I told her our office mgr handles such  matters.  Still nasty, Heather said "OK, but the office manager will just put the call through to the owner."  That didn't happen . . .as an OEM mfg, we have just a few clients and no need for a collection company with horrible sales practices.  Advice to COFACE:  When dealing with small businesses, don't expect results through intimidation.

Got a call from some guy named "carmine."  said that he needed the CFO.  I told him that we dont take solicitation via the telephone.  He then said he was intrested in doing business with our company.  The CFO took the call and now i have to deal with this guy everyday.  Our CFO hired the company and they call with updates on the accounts we have placed in collection like clockwork.  They may be pushy at first but you cant argue with results.  We do get paid quickly on our past dues.

Just got a phone call from them, asked for the financial officer, told him I could help...he laughs and said "oh yeah YOUR the financial officer and your answering the phone, yeah right" then hangs up on me...ever heard of small businesses??? Idiot...

This company called asking for the Chief Financial Officer.  I could tell is was a marketing call and said we have none and said thank you and called back.   He called right back and said you hung up on me!  I said no I didn't. I said we don't have one, thank you and hung up.  He said I AM the Vice President of blah blah blah and I wanted to do business with your company.  I said if you want to do with our company, you can contact our Corporate Office.  What is your name?  He demanded!    IDIOTS....We don't do ANY business over the phone.....period.  Send us a letter.

Just got a call from them.  Asking for the CFO.  Told him our company doesnt have a CFO and told him no Thank you and hung up.  He immediately called back and said I just called you and you hung up on me.  I wanted to do business with you.  Can I speak to the person who handles your finances or the owner?  Told him the Owner is out for the day.  He said who will that be.  I said the Owner. LOL.  He said no a name.  I said your Name? He said i am with Coface.  He still didnt offer HIS name.  he got an attitude and said is the owner in.  I told him, i already told you he is out for the day. He said do you make decisions. i said no! I said the owner wouldnt be interested as he doesnt take solicitation or telemarketing calls.  He said I am neither i just want to do business. I said to do business you are soliciting.  We arent interested.  And i hung up!

I went to their website and flooded their emails with a notice that I was on the do not call registry and that I would follow up on my rights under that law. They are based in NJ, not overseas so it should end things.

That should have read "they will be to our customers"

i received a call from this number at work...i didn't answer so they keep calling non stop.....its so annoying

Got call from this number wanting previous owner's formal name....this told me right away it was a sales call of some time. Apparently this company is a collections/debt servicing company as their next question was whoever handles debt or collections issues.
