This number called me about five or six times yesterday. When I answered the phone there was no one on the other end of the line. Who ever this is, they are very annoying

i answered it and it was a real elderly sounding  woman like real old she asked if jeff ,something ,was there or here and i said no .she repeted my phone no. to me and i said its my no. no one by that name lives here . then she said thank you she would update there records,

we got calls from this number 5 times this evening. No one talks and there is no message. They have called at least 10 times over the weekend.

Agree with everyone above, this is not right, 3 calls from this number the last 3 days----- we too are on the do not call list.

Telemarketers ignore the no call list.  Maybe they change numbersb so often that they figure no one will catch up with them.

i have been getting calls at home from these losers, i pick up then hang up...f****ng a***oles, and congrats to the federal government for doing something about this...Obama has to talk about some kid getting shot who could have 'been his son' (?), yet the government cannot do anything about the scams that go on inside and from outside our borders.

I received a call from 610-000-0000 on Monday, 3/5.  The woman said she was doing a survey in my area about changes taking place or should be take place in my area.  I told her I was not interested in taking a survey and for her to please remove our phone number off of the survey list.  This evening, Wednesday, 3/7 I received yet another call from this number this time asking for my husband and it was the same scenario.  I told her we were not interested in the survey she told me she would have to hear it from him.  I have news for this lady if I don't answer the phone it doesn't get answered.  I am reporting them to the do not call registry.

there was a person on the other end of the line but they didn't say anything (not even 'hello?') and after about 15 seconds of silence the person hung up

was definitely a person and not a machine which is very odd coming from a obscured number

Looks like they are at it again.  Did a *60 to block them.  Don't think it will help.

This number calls 2-3 times a day.  I does not go to the answering machine.  VERY ANNOYING!!  How can we stop these unwanted calls?  I AM registered with the No Call registry.

I think its alien related, using our communication system to send messages.  I got the call while in New Mexico, not far from Roswell.

I got a call from a guy who said he was with American Membership and that they were going to send me $2000 to my door for free.  I would also receive a trial membership for a phone plan and a medical plan.  I told them I was not interested and to take me off their list.  He was really confused why I wouldn't want his free money!  He sounded indian and gave me a name that sounded like an american movie star name.  I had to laugh at that.  There was an extra digit on the telephone number too, weird.

I am getting the calls now.  They wanted to 'secure' my Social Security number!  It sounded like some one from India or around there.  Very static like.  He knew my name!

I don't know, I only speak English!

Got a call they read a script that it was a non-profit research group conducting a survey for the City of MANHATTAN BEACH, CA. They asked if I was on a cell phone, if I was in a safe place to talk. I answered yes  and yes and then they said they would call back.

Weird they were not soliciting or asking for donations just was weird.

Got a call from 610-000-0000. Caller I.D. identified it as Pennsylvania. After working for a local So. Calif. phone company any call that comes across without any numbers is a scam. And most likely one of those re-re-rerouted calls from some off shore no-name island in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. Don't even take the time to waste your precious energy to pick up the phone and answer it. If you do.......they now have you hooked into their system. Just ignore the call. Even if they become persistant. You can contact your local area office of the Federal Trade Commission and talk to one of their representatives. They can help. Another way to stop a lot of these calls is to call each and every one of your credit card companies and talk to their customer service rep. Tell them you want to "Opt Out" of any and all promotions, give-aways, or anything that they or their subsidiaries are selling. Otherwise the credit card companies will sell you info to telemarketers.

I didn't answer, a message was left from ComEd that they they are coming to replace our meter.

Who keeps calling from this number? Any figure it out yet?

probably the "Who owns this Number" service...autodialing weird numbers multiple times to get people upset enough to pay for their service

This number has called 3 times today.  They don't leave a message and I have yet to answer the phone when this number comes up.  We are also registered with the No Call registry, but I'm thinking that the registry is a load of bull.

This number has called me 3 times today and 4 times yesterday..who is it??

I've tried answering when the number shows up on caller ID, but I get no response and eventually the caller (auto-dialer, I presume) hangs up. I still get two calls a day from this number, but since I'm not home it doesn't bother me. However, I am curious about the laws about sending a fake caller ID. I think it's illegal and I'm going to pursue the matter to find out and let the feds handle whoever this is.
