Insurance providers aren't our mothers. The do not care whether we are well or not, they only  care about making money.  I don't need some health insurance robot pushing flu and pneumonia shots via unsolicited phone calls. If I want these shots, I know when and where to get them.

I get these calls from United healthcare on a different 612 number. They're automated calls about flu shots, etc. One is about a 5-minute questionnaire--the system keeps calling & offers me no way to opt out. Customer service said they'd take me off the list but a week later they keep coming.

It's intrusive & the info is all on their website. i don't want these calls & there seems to be no way to stop them.

BOTH UNITED HEALTH CARE AND METRO PHONE KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND ARE TRYING TO SOLVE IT.  IT HAS TO DO WITH CROSS WIRING.  GOT A VERY NICE PERSON AT METROPHONE WHO AS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM AND THEY ARE FIELDING HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS ABOUT THIS.  

HOPE THEY SOLVE THE PROBLEM QUICKLY FOR THE 1000s OF PEOPLE WHO ARE RECEIVING THESE CALLS.

This is United Healthcare calling to remind you to get your Flu Shot. They do leave a message but if you aren't home or don't answer then you can't confirm you received the phone call. It's a legitimate call. There is no violation to report & the DNC List has nothing to do with this type of call. It's not a telemarketer either as some have stated.

I ended up calling the number previously mentioned ( 1-866-477-3966 ) but the rep said he was in the Sales department. He ended up giving me another number: 800 643 4845 so you might want to try and call this second one. Hopefully the calls will stop. If not, I'll have to report a violation.

They were just calling to see if i got my flu shot etc. not a spam

I have recd. a minimum of 10 calls from these dirt bags, saying I need to get my flu shots. I'm never available to take the calls, so they say "We will call back later"!! & They got that one right!!  They use a name that's not anywhere close to mine. It can't be the previous owner of my #, bacause I've had my current # for over 3 YEARS!!  I filed a complaint with www.donotcall.gov .

this # is repeating on my cell phone number, which i never give out. who is it? how do i stop it?

Got a call from 612-238-0725 and they left a message that they were with Medicare and
something to do with the flu shot.  They said they would call back.  I am on the do not call
list and definitely do not want them to call me. They did know my name which concerns me.

I got a call from this number.i called back rec msg says its a non working number..WEIRD.THEN HOW DID THEY CALL ME??

Caller said he was from Wisconsin Gas Company and wanted to schedule a gas line repair at our property on Nov. 17th.  I asked why caller ID showed "Minnesota number" and he said: wow, that's weird, I'll have to check on that.  I hung up.  Also, We use We Energies - not "Wisconsin Gas Co"...do they even exist?

I keep my iPhone off when I am napping, so I did not hear the unsolicited recorded message from United Healthcare on October 24th at 3 pm.  The call was from Minnesota but I live in New York City.  Could the company have gotten my telephone number from AARP, which insurance I do not have but am a member.  If so, it would be worth it to withdraw my membership in AARP.

I tried to re-call the number:  busy.

I found UH's Minnesota Customer Service at (877) 842-3210.  This led to my being asked by a machine my number, even my tax ID number so they could locate my policy!  After 30 minutes or so of phone-tag, I was unable to get to anyone with my complaint.

It will take time but I will report this to the New York State Attorney General's Office.

This is an automated call from SecureHorizons and United Healthcare, a Medicare advantage plan.

I gave them permission to call me in regards to my Medicare plan for updates and reminders.

I looked in my membership book and the number to call to inform them of a wrong number or to discontinue the auto calls is 1-800-690-1606.

If you get a call for someone not affiliated with your number, chances are either Medicare or the member gave them the wrong number. It would be important to take five minutes out of your life and call and tell them you got an automated medical related call to someone not at the number.

To everyone stating that it is a harassing call, I would ask you are you or someone you know on Medicare or United Healthcare and they are calling you because of your status and therefore a legit call or How new is you phone number.

Be kind people. If the call is for someone else you don't know, call them and tell them they got the wrong number.

I hate Robo calls too but these calls are not you regular spam calls.

This caller is from United Health Care. It is the time of the year for open enrollment. If you do not answer they tell you they are sorry they missed you and they will call back later.

If AARP wants to sell me Insurance, they better get a better company to handle their business.  As the Lorrie Morgan song goes.   What part of NO don't you understand.  I called back just now and was told the phone had been disconnect.   Happened in about 2 minutes.

I've been getting messages from this company as well - very annoying.  I followed Martha's suggestion and called them back @ 1-866-477-3966 and asked to have my number removed.  They found the number in their system and removed it. Hopefully no more calls.  Thank you Martha!!!!

United Healthcare automated flu shot harassment calls.  Does leave a message telling you it will call back, probably till the end of time.  

The fake flu shot is the biggest healthcare scam going.  So many of us have already been harmed by vaccines and had our immune systems ruined by them.  I have no intention of getting this fake shot of poison and they do not belong harassing me over it.

My immune system was destroyed by shots already.  I have no intention of getting the fake flu shot.  Biggest healthcare scam ever.  And they don't belong harassing anyone.

This number appears on the ID and is strictly a recorded message.  My answering machine records the message and you cannot break in to talk to anyone.  They have the wrong name to start with and keep asking for verification of the recipient by pressing number one.  They keep asking for my wife who is deceased.  We get at least 10 calls per week.

the number calling you 612-238-0725 is basically an outgoing number only. here is a number for evercare that will enable you to speak to someone directly 1-888-834-3721.  Evercare is a ligitimate company by United Healthcare and has a few different programs for people with limited incomes that have Medicare Part A and B. They also have plans for AARP.

Keeps calling and there is no one on other end.

from computerized female voice stating she is from Medicare Advantage and asks if I am the name she called. Answering 'no' she says she will call back later. The call traces to "Twin Lakes Minnesota, Depot Street.

ID on phone is "Minnesota Call" and recorded message claims to be from Medicare Advantage.  I'm over 65 and on Medicare - but I won't answer this type of call.  If it was truly my bone-fida Medicare Advantage plan, there would be a company ID not "Minnesota Call."  BEWARE!!!!!

received call on 7/8 at 7:46 someone other than myself answered and the person who had asked for me was told I wasn't there said they'd call back.

The bad thing is, I have the 3 disconnect tones recorded at the beginning of my answering machine greeting. This SHOULD stop automated machines from calling back. When an automated system dials a # and gets the disconnect tones, it is supposed to remove that number so it isnt called again. These idiots call constantly, even though those tones are being displayed. I also think it should be a federal law that companies can NOT call you from a number that isnt available to receive calls. Every time I try to call this number to chew them out, I get nothing. That to me is harassment.... they can call me but I cant call them. Also, why do legitimate businesses show up as "name unavailable"... that shouldnt be either.

When answering the phone there is a person that says is this paul and thats the end of teh call. When trying to call it back it states that all lines are busy.

I keep receiving robotic calls and voice mails asking for 'The Cardholder'. Sorry you mugs, how am I supposed to know who 'The Cardholder' is? This is not the first world war so quit with the code names you fools. They are getting reported first thing.

This is a robot call....have received at least 10 calls during the past 30 -45 days. Now have blocked the #.
