caller asked to speak with Mr or Mrs Mohammad. I said there is no one here by that name and never has been. She said she is calling from Children's Leukemia Foundation. Then asked how i was doing and I said i'm busy.

My guess is that you signed up when it was originally started and haven't done anything with it since. Did you know that when the registry was renewed in 2005 (I think that's when) that all numbers were removed. You had to sign up again after that and the numbers on that list became permanent from then on.
But yeah, there are companies that don't comply and that's when you use this...

I would recommend that you contact the DNC Registry and Opt out. That should take away your frustrations.
Have you considered how many calls that you are NOT getting because of the millions and millions of legitimate companies who are now honoring the DNC list? How many calls would you be getting each day, in addition to the scammers and other unwelcomed callers, if not for the DNC being honored and these millions and millions of businesses were legally free to start daily telemartketing everyone at their own free will. Read all of the complaints under the telephone numbers and threads on this discussion board and see how many complaints are about scammers and such and how many complaints are about legitimate American Businesses.

Called and asked for a Mr Manny. Told him, "you have the wrong number," and he said, "Ah, I do have the wrong name on here." Then proceeded to say, "Maybe you can help me." As soon as he said that, I hung up the phone.
