I do not want any calls from this number.
Mike 2012-08-20 22:57:43 Unknown
Got a book that came with a silver dollar and they wont stop calling even after I've repeatedly told them I don't want to invest in gold.
Josh 2012-08-16 14:28:48 Unknown
Got a call from them this morning but they left no message. Yes, I have bought silver from Midas in the past, so that would explain why they have my number. For the record, the transaction went smoothly and the broker was very courteous and amicable. Wish they would leave a message though, I shouldn't have to google the number.
@Scooby, this is not the appropriate venue for you to espouse your (weird and wrong) political views...
Laura 2012-07-17 21:10:19 Unknown
Scooby..they only call people that HAVE given them their number. Midas is a VERY reputable company and they don't have TIME to harrass people! They don't make "cold calls'.

THANK YOU!!

jerks. also, leaving positive notices about yourselves on this message board ain't foolin' nobody, Midas Gold! And cold calling people IS telemarketing, by definition. And while we're here, conservative and libertarian is not "patriotic". Dismantling our country to sell of our resources and disolving the social contract is not patriotic. Milton Friedman was an "enemy within." And Ron Paul has no chance.

Got two calls back to back from this company on my CELL PHONE. Didn't answer either but am wondering why they would be calling me. I've NEVER dealt with this company before.

Midas Resorces , very reputable . Just purchased 620 Dimes ( Primate bartering silver ) from midas , right out of the gate the broker noticed my area code was from minnesota . Woah ! he says , you will be nicked with state tax ! He then gave me two other names of sellers from out of state .... cool but that ment I had to purchase $1501 .00 from one broker as it then falls under an investment clause plus $35.00 s/h . Thats O.K. as it's only going up in value from here . Long story short , midas was still either a alot lower or a tad above ..... despite the state tax . Then knowing the proximity of midas was close to a trip I would be takeing , I asked the broker if I could swing by and pick-it up.....ya there was a slight pause .... we ship from off site he says but we can have it here , be punctual don't lalygag around we have work to do . And the sweet-rolls can be a day old , JUST KIDDING HE SAY'S ....... I'm 54 with gray hair . If you've ever had to listen to pertanent information from a scatchy , mono - short- wave radio ..... you would realy appriciate the work that must have gone into and continues with GCN LIVE . 24/7- FREE SPEACH . P.S. He lives in a tidy slit level home , blue coller neighborhood , I drove thru-it .

I have received numerous calls from this number. Today was the first time they haven't left a message. Previously the caller has identified himself as a rep from Midas Gold...... research of Midas on the web does not find a positive recommendation for this business.

Called me on Easter Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Regardless of your religious affilliation, one has to know that it is probably not a good idea to cold call folks on a holiday. Obviously NOT a reputible company.

I have purchased coins from them and they are a very respected company. I have heard them advertise Conservative libertarian and Patriot Radio stations

Legitimate cold call from Midas Resources (a patriot Gold and Silver dealer). Have bought G and S from them in the past.
DavidM 2011-06-06 20:52:30 Unknown
Legit company. I called them a few months ago to inquire about purchasing gold. Reputable company. I just got a call and googled it. It's not telemarketing.

I got a call from this number and it was from Midas Resources. However, They were not scamming the public for gold when they called me. They are now scamming business for marketing ads on google or other on line services. I have used these kinds of ads and found that there are click bots that click your links an can run up your pay per click bill to 900 dollars per day. And Google or Yahoo or Ask will not give your money back. What that is left in your account is stuck there as well which you can never get back out.
I lost over 10 grand on these pap per click and mass mailing scams. My advice is cuss them out when they call and run like hell.

I agree its Midas Resources. Sponsor of the mighty Alex Jones Show. That said, I no longer believe in gold. I used to have the gold bug until I realized that gold is just another speculative racket. Its value rests entirely on the Greater Fool Theory. You buy gold hoping to unload on someone else willing to pay more for it than you did. Gold is money ONLY to the central bankers. It is useless to the rest of us. If you try to play the game, you'll most likely buy and sell through a handful of gold dealers. The ratio of gold buyers/sellers to the gatekeepers is not in your favor. The dealers soak you big time when you buy and give you less than spot when you sell.
The only time gold is ever money in the classical sense is where it exists to bring buyers and sellers of real goods and services together. Gold must also hold value as a savings. The only way that can happen is when the power of government decrees what the money will be, regulate its value, prevent fluctuations, and it must be debt-free. For an economy as large as the U.S., we would have to use a multi-metal currency as there simply isn't enough gold and it can only be divided up so much.
A macro-economy using a real Constitutional money system would destroy the fictitious capital markets, which makes up probably 95% of the GDP. Gee, the U.S. might have to put up sky-high tariffs, arrest and hang a few thousand banksters on PayPerView, and actually produce what we consume once again.

I just got a call from this number and googled it. I purchased from Midas a few years back and had called them recently. Message indicates they are interested in buying back. If you buy from them and don't know much about purchasing gold coin check the value of what they are trying to sell you. I was not. Gold has gone up three hundred dollars since I bought @ $937 and I still can't get anyone to offer me close to what I paid.
It's like buying a car, be informed on what you are getting and haggle.

Someone must have entered your phone number into the "For More Information" form on their website. I wouldn't be surprised if the call was random, as many people often put fake phone numbers on internet forms.
