I have found the answer to all these annoying calls, it's called the Call Blocker, and it works great. I was looking for the solution to these phone calls for years, and this is the best solution I have found yet. I bought mine on ebay, and it works like a champ. if its a legit call, then they would have your info...and ask for you by name, not just say they have a document. get real. like one said. they are trying to scam people for money, knowing most, and yes im one, owe something to somebody.

I am guessing by your response you are one of the low life's that are trying to scam people out of money.  If anyone is a "true" debt collector, for one they do NOT leave an automated message asking you if you received a legal document.  Also, true debt collectors do NOT have the authority to leave such messages.  For one it is against the law to threaten anyone with legal proceedings.  Secondly, absolutely NO one will call and tell you that you are going to be served.  You might want to tell your "friends" that the FCC will be contacted and they will be reported.

This is a company that is trying to collect on debts that in most cases have reached the Statute of Limitations (each state is different) If you decide to speak with this people do not in any way acknowledge the debt or the clock starts ticking again. These callers have never left me a voice mail they just call and hangup. If you do not at minimum identify who you are looking for. I won't return your call and you will get blocked

Same woman with different numbers and she uses different names.This is a Scam.

Just got the same message from 3 different numbers......

This is the second call I have received from this number. Same message as I posted before.

Same scam, different day, different number,  A "Ms. Gifford" wants a return call regarding a legal document.  No way in he_ _ do they think I'm stupid.

If it is personal, it may not be legal to state what the call is regarding or the company name on the voicemail... until the number is verified.

Data mining? It does not appear so by the other posts.. Perhaps it is a wrong number?
If the phone call is for you, then you should expect the call.
If it is not, the caller will never know if they have a wrong number until you tell them.

If it is a collections call then you will likely get many more calls from various companies until you handle the issue or let the caller know they have a wrong number. Try not to lie.

These people are driving me nuts, same message from different numbers.

"This is Ms. Gifford. Please return our call to let me know if you received a legally required notice pertaining to you from our office. If you not received this notice have recently moved or changed your mailing address. Please let us know. I can be reached at 612-326-9849. Thank you"

Yeah if you were real, then you would leave a company name and the phone number search would bring up a company name.  Grrr....

Have blocked at least 9 of these numbers.  Now they just switch to a new one.  So far this week they have tried 4 new numbers from which to call.  Scammers. They are data mining.
