Jobnab is a scam. The chick claimed her name was Deb and other are saying the person said her name was Anna.
paula 2010-07-07 12:55:22 Unknown
But what job did you apply to that got you the text?
Gregg 2010-07-07 12:55:07 Unknown
That solves that I guess..

Here's what happened when I went to the site. I filled out two pages of information and was given a phone number to call. When they answered the guy confirmed the information I typed in was correct and then asked me some questions about the types of jobs I wanted. Then he said they'd start sending me updates with jobs in my area that meet those requirements. I was given the option of how often I wanted those updates and i said daily. When I got the jobs a few I'd knew already, and a few I didnt. I followed the link and applied for them. Does that answer everyone's questions?

I got the text and went to the website. It's a job matching service that interviews you really quickly to see what kind of job you're looking for and then sends you job mathces in your area that you can go apply to.

What's the website about? The one in the text?
James 2010-07-07 12:51:53 Unknown
"Ninja Kitten" is the name for my boyfriend in my phone and every time he texts it says Ninja Kitten. So it's in the phone not the text.

I'm almost positive that cell phones do not have caller IDs. The number has to be in your phone.
Reynolds 2010-07-07 12:49:52 Unknown
I'm pretty sure that I pay extra to get caller ID on my phone. Maybe if you don't pay for it you don't get it.

I got that text as well. But I've been applying for so many jobs lately so that I can work after graduation - it could be about a hundred jobs so far!
St. Clair 2010-07-07 12:48:12 Unknown
So did anyone visit the website to see what kind of job it is?
lillian 2010-07-07 12:47:53 Unknown
I didn't get anything in the Caller ID, but the text said it was from a girl named Anna.

Cell phones are different than regular phones. They want to limit the amount of data sent to keep costs down so they don't send caller ID info. The number has to be in your address book to come up in caller ID.
Ken 2010-07-07 12:46:57 Unknown
No, caller IDs are in the number programming. If it doesn't come up it's because there is none.

Got text. No caller ID but message was pretty clear. It said that if I was still interested in finding a job to visit their website. Probably got my resume off of Monster.
Billy 2010-07-07 12:46:02 Unknown
Doesn't the number need to be in your address book for a caller ID to come threw on your cell phone?
gayle 2010-07-07 12:45:37 Unknown
Caller ID: Unknown.
Kendra 2010-07-07 12:45:04 Unknown
