hahaha thats my number! j/k i got a similar call late at night i didn't answer cuz i was asleep, but they called two times and left a message that went something like this......some girl  came on saying this was brian and then asking when we were going to meet up again. then she started getting into sex and all that implies.

Guys, its just IP Relay.  Its for deaf people that want to call someone, they type in the phone number in IP Relay and then they type messages and the operator will dictate the messages to the person on the phone.  Then the person on the other line can talk back and the operator will right down the messages for the deaf people.

Unfortunately, since its anonymous, kids like to prank call their friends and leave weird messages.  Occasionally, people can use it to scam you too - if you think this is the case, you should contact someone.  90% of the time, though, its just kids prank calling you.

this number has already called me 5 times within 10 minutes!!! At first when I picked up, it said that my call has been disconnected and then the next call the person actually said my name and said that he heard that I was coming out of the closet..please help!!

I got a call from this number left on my voicemail from a female asking me if I would like her pussy tonight. I don't need bs calls like that, what is this all about anyways. Well from hearing other messages left by this number i'm atleast glad I got this message.

I got two sequential calls from this number the first time the v.mail was dead air. The second time was a message from operator id9085, who left a message that I needed to get HIV tested.

I put an AD in The Recycler and I got a call from the above number, she said she was an IP relay Operator, I spoke to her for about 5 minutes about my Sofa for sale, I dont think the number is a scam but the caller on the other end, who said he was calling from Utah, Was a SCAM for sure,.... like he cant buy Furniture in Utah. The is Sprint IP Realy, Operator. It is used to for Language or hearing impaired people to type on a computer and the operator speaks reading the text.

Its an IP Relay. What is it: It is designed for people that are hearing impaired, they go onto a computer and type something, and the operator talks, and then types back the response to the hearing impaired person. Anybody has access to it, you do NOT have to be mute to use it. I know that on AIM or AOL if you talk to MY IP RELAY, you can do it. All you have to do is type in a phone number of who you'd like to call, and they call and you can have a conversation. So more than likely the people that are calling you are your friends/enemies, that know you, and want to get under your skin. And also the operator has to say exactly what you type, so if the message is really disturbing its because the person doing to typing is telling them to say that.

and my dad woke up and picked up the phone, already mad that he was disturbed during his sleep.
He hears this lady talking to him about this message was sent from a person. He quickly ran to me, i put it on speaker. And the lady beings to read some message, Your son has been absent for 3 weeks, he hasnt been in school. I dont know if he is sick or cutting class.
My dad turns to me and was about to hit me. I was like i swear i didnt.
And he remembers that we had a recent parent teacher confrence.
People its a scam dont believe it.

I got a call from this number. First time, not anything really weird, but annoying none the less. The moderator told me the person asked how am I doing. I responded fine, who are you? They said I should know who they were. I asked why they had my cell # and then they hung up. Too bad, I wanted to see if the moderator would actually say my barrage of swears. I have no idea who it was.

This seems like a legit service, it's just some morons use it to screw with people.

I received a phone call from this number.  At first I thought it was from a friend from school because I did not recognize the number.  I did not answer thinking that if it was important they would leave a message.  They did not leave a message and thank goodness because some of those messages were scary!

we got a call as well and it really freaked my girlfriend out. Whoever the hell is doing this whether it is friends or not had better pray i dont find them.

Just got two calls from this number, back to back...the second time was a weird voicemail.  I also got two calls right after that from another number 408-822-1645, that was the same scenario.  How can this be happening in this day and age?  If this many people are getting these calls and there is such abuse of this system, can't there be something done about this?  All these calls are made close to midnight.
