I was called twice in a row, one callrr identified himself as a nurse asking me to call back, I did not.  The second call the following day was supposedly to make sure I was getting all the benefits from United Healthcare but a lady proceeded to ask me for my birth date and social security number so I said I did not feel comfortable at all about that and that was it.

Caller is using a spoofed number, do not pay. Don't even try to call them back. And for heavens sake, don't answer it if you don't know it.

These Robo calls come constantly - I usually let the answer machine pick it up. When I do attempt to answer - the line always goes dead immediately.

they call their members as a reminder to get their flu shot - and is no charge. Annoying, but they are trying to keep their customers healthy so as not to have to pay for their care when sick.  Give the a break,  ya know?

This number comes up any time during day through evening hours. United Healthcare has this number, and will want to talk with me once a week, as part of their  "House Call Services" program. If you don't talk to them personally, they will call EVERYDAY for two weeks, sometimes longer. These nuisance calls have pushed me to the point of finding another healthcare provider for next year. I am afraid this is a trend with other companies as well. Anyone on medicare is treated as incapable of taking care of ourselves, of having friends, or keeping busy. I have had questions asked about how many friends I have, where I go and with whom? I do not have dementia, and that is not the reason I am upset with these questions. United Healthcare has poorly trained their "House Call" helpers. Yuk, these calls are intrusive and not appropiate to my healthcare regime.

I am not a United Health Care user, yet they call for the same thing. Someone else must have provided my phone number. Annoying. I just don't answer those call from numbers I don't know. They can leave a message that I will completely ignore anyways.

    SIMPLE, DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE.....

The number IS United Health Care. I just got off the phone with one of their Customer Reps who verified this for me. The only way to stop the calls is for them to totally block all calls to your number. This means anything that might actually be important will be blocked. I told them that's tough, that's their fault. I'm also reporting this to my State Consumer Protection Agency. This SPAM is not why I gave United my phone number.

Like any of us need o be treated like children or idiots about getting a flu shot. They treat their ustomers like morons.
That is, if it really is UHC.
The annoying, intrusive, repetitive robo-calls are unnecessary. Disgusting.

Did not identify themselves, only to say that they had an "important health question" for me. I called back after hiding my number, and found out that it was United Healthcare.  United Healthcare apparently thinks that I am not taking care of my health to suit their goals I guess.

This number calls me and say is this may lewis and then ask if not are you the care giver if not they say we will call back. No option to remove because there is no person by this name living here. Never has been. Just keeps calling every day. Sounds like a scam to me....

I too have United Healthcare and this number called to remind me to get my flu shot. This number is not a "scam" as some other poster mentioned. If they really did check as they claim they would KNOW this is a legitimate number.

I have United Healthcare Insurance.  I receive calls from this number also.  It is a legitimate phone number for United Healthcare (UHC).  I did verify the number first by calling UHC using the phone number on the back of my insurance card before I accepted/responded to the voice instructions I was getting.  UHC uses the number and recorded messages to communicate with their customers.

I received a call this morning from this number at 11:51.  The prerecorded message was talking about getting a flu shot and where to get one.

it's a scam - United Health Care is not their name - first of all and second of all we've checked -it's a scam. REPORT THESE ABUSERS

This number is for United Health Care.  It calls to remind the insured to get flu shots or to check their
email for important changes to insurance policy.
