Calling them only serves to validate to the scammers that you got a call. Many of these types get paid on a call-answer basis, not caring about a voice response versus fax (just somebody picked up), by the companies they advertise, so that's why they persist. It's simply their source of revenue. Our US-based business requested them to remove our number over 4 times and recorded the calls as proof. Never done 10 months later. Not a US point of origin, so no other action can be taken. Our company finally had to opt to change fax numbers. That is a huge expense to reprint our various letterheads, everyone's business cards, change all websites info, and so forth.

(note: posting this for both numbers) getting fax calls from 613-249-3234 and 613-249-3233 back-to-back for over 30 minutes continuously on 6-18-14 at 9:47 pm EDT. started up again this morning at 6:25 am EDT for another 30 minutes non-stop. only answered the first call. i thought that all telemarketers, voice or fax, had to call during business hours. guess i am wrong. very irritating.

I am getting calls daily by this company I believe it is 800notes I am so fed up with it I wish it would stop.

We got a fax that says we have a pending invoice from American Yellow Corporation.  Very odd.

We have changed our fax number, please call us for the updated fax number.

This number keeps calling my company phone in fax mode but it is not calling my fax line so it calls over and over again..It is VERY annoying and is blocking my business calls. This has to stop!

These numbers do not belong to Homes & Cottages Magazine.  I spoke with Steven Griffin and other than one of the faxes above (sent in January) they have not been sending faxes on any of the days listed above.  They are other companies sending faxes through the same channels routing numbers.  Call Protus at 613-733-0000 and ask to be added to their Do-Not-Fax list.

These (613) numbers belong to Protus, a fax service company in Ottawa, Canada.  You all need to call them and ask to be put on their block list in order to stop receiving faxes from these numbers.

You keep calling one of our employee's numbers every month, several times in a row.  Please stop this immediately!

Just called the 866 # Cheryl provided above and entered in my phone number. Here's hoping it stops these annoying fax calls! Every Monday, every 10 min, from 9:00-10:00, like clockwork.

They keep calling our business number under 613-249-3234 or 613-249-3651, no messages, just being jerks tying up our toll free line.

Your "company" should NOT be faxing to anyone in the US unless that person/company has specifically told you it's okay.  Your "company" has refused to remove our number.  Not only that, you fax to PHONE LINES, not fax lines.  Idiots!  AND, you are "faxing" to a Conservation Trust line.  This trust spends money ONLY on purchasing and maintaining land.  
Why doesn't your "company" spend time and money looking at who they are faxing to and have some morals?  Even in the US, we can still sue your "company" for failure to comply with FCC rules & regulations.  We should not have to call your scam company to remove our numbers...people shouldn't anyway because you'll just sell it to more lists.

I actually received the fax and it is by Yow Canada Inc.
On the fax it states..."Yow Canada advertises to businesses only. If you are not a business, or do not wish to receive fax advertising from Yow Canada, please call 1-866-798-9890. Please note: to be removed, you must provide us with your fax number when contacting us."

BTW, the number is not home and cottages magazine it is an individual.  Home and cottages number is (905) 567-1440.  And their fax is also a 905 number.  It is possible that they have inside sales folks who call to sell subscriptions.

I just called the 866-330-4185 # to have my # removed from their call list, let's see if it works!!!

Tried calling back number - no ring, no answer, nothing

Got a call from this number today, and I actually got a legitimate fax from a legitimate supplier in my industry.  The odd thing is they are located in Texas, and this number is obviously not a Texas number.

We received three calls from this number within an hour. We didn't answer and we had three voice mails which were only intermittent steady tones, not the type that fax calls leave. These calls are very annoying and interrupt our daily routine and distract us from calls from family.

received 2 calls from 3234 and 1 from 3233 this afternoon, all within 30 minutes. I called 866-330-4185 and took my number off the FAX list, hopefully it works.

Got a call today on my landline from 613-249-3234 at 5:58pm and a call from 613-249-3233 at 6:06pm and 6:14pm. I was not home to answer the phone, but glad I wasn't in. Seems like everyone is getting annoyed with them.
