Hey i can help.....i got call from this +4044 from last 3 month, Guy on call told me that they are calling from KBC, and they played KBC with me on phone, later they told me that i won 2 lakh .
Later they wanted some imported documents for further process and told me that if i send them my documents they will come to my place to hand over me my prize money.
Being stupid i sent them my documents and later they started asking for my account number and my pan card details when i told them that i cannot send them my account details. I rejected to do so and told  them that KBC people will come to my place to hand over me the amount. They first started shouting at me and later trying to convince me.
But thank god before anything happened i have been told that someone else got same call in Patiala (Punjab) from this no. +3444 and +4044 and that person got hacked by these people and his documents got miss used somewhere in south. SO in Advanced i filed complaint against them for my documents
So be aware of these people using  e-mail they use (kbc.clicks@gmail.com) and number +4044 and +3444

I just got a call from this number(613.482.4044) on Sat. Jul.23. 1:35 pm. I was enjoying my peaceful day off after working so hard all week, playing the music. Suddenly, phone rang and I had to stop my music. "Hello, hello, hello...??" but there was nobody...I had to hang up and tried to call that number to see who called. There was weird music and saying that something bla bla treatment centre? Shriners??  I got scared who called from the treatment centre? So I tried again and it said that it would cost if I talk to the agent...

Is there anybody who can stop these weird people who break my peace?

this number is a long distance dealer. I am with them. $4.00 a month for unlimited long distance anywhere in canada. Never had a problem with them, although they do call atleast once a month for me, but I'm also a customer so they don't bug me as much lol

I live in the Ottawa area and have received numerous calls at all hours of the day and night from 613-482-4044 (which turned out to be the Shriners when I called back). I know that I don't appreciate being called repeatedly at all hours of the day and night only to have to listen to dead silence. They sure as hell aren't doing themselves any favours... Can't be too good for business.

Call 1-800-581-2162, choose option 9 to be placed on their no call list.

I received this call for no reason.  He just said "This Shriner calling"  I asked what do you want, he asked me why I'm calling him????????

Very strange, I was scared.

When this number called they asked for me by name. When I kept asking who was calling me, the person on the other end became quite rude and hung up (never would identify himself).  I found it creepy and not at all like a business calling.

Have received several calls from this number during the weekday between 9am - 8 pm and on Saturdays. They never leave a message and it is quite annoying.

Just received a call from this number 9:05 pm on a Wed night. When I answered no one replied... rude!!!

Guess what I found?  The number 613-482-4044 is registered to a Telecom Service Group which from what I can see is now owned by a certain aggressive/intrusive communications company. Ring any BELLS? Anyone here have problems hearing  Bells lately?  Don't forget, it's all about money.  

Here's a scenario for you:

You get a call from a mysterious number night and day, everyday, it's annoying right?  No one answers.  What's  up with that?
What would you do to get rid of these guys, to find out who it is or where they are located?  
Let's try one of these phone number tracing web sites, right? WRONG,  that's where they get your money and where does it get you, on their suckers list that's where.  They're all in it together.  Don't be fooled by this SCAM.  Because of this I am currently disconecting my phone/internet/TV services and going with undisclosed but successful methods of entertainment to communicate with others.  Unfortunately you will have to MAD MAX your own methods, good luck.

WOW and I thought I was the only one being harrassed by these people.  I wonder if we all called our MPs and start a war against this company.  Just a thought, but it would be great if we could all end these endless calls.  Very irritating and an abuse of our phone services.

We get calls from this number CONSTANTLY. I've just ran through my caller ID and they have called 6 times in the last 7 days.
