I just started getting this today jul 8. It is aan automated tracker that gets to know your routine, when you are home, if you answer, etc. Then the info is sold to a telemarketing company. Do you also get calls from 800-544-9052, i get lots.

Well according to the above then, I will not answer this numbers call. It's been calling for days, I hadn't been answering it, as I didn't recognize it, but they never leave a message. So one day I answered, suspecting a telemarketer, to tell them off, no response, even tried calling the number, message tells you to leave your number to be removed form a "list", ya right didn't fall for that one!
How can we stop these f***ers?

I get these too as well as the one from canadian credit corp, another phishing expedition for a live contact. just hook up your fax machine, or pc based fax and everytime an unidentified 800 or whatever calls you, answer with the fax machine. I seldom get more than two calls from any one of these jerks.

I am pretty sure Conservative Party uses this to track regular supporters and hit them up with another donation. It is an Ottawa exchange.

Same thing here, no answer from the other side and if call them then automated machine would like to leave name and number......... don't buy that.

I am sick of these " no voice" phone calls. We need a way to stop them from calling so many times.

In my case it was "Responsive Marketing Group" calling on behalf of the Conservative Party of Canada.
The number displayed is an Ottawa number though the agent said he is located in Thunder Bay.
