I'm getting a call everyday from 888-248-3182.  I never picked up.  But I tried dialing the number, and it says from GAP.  I do not have a GAP credit card! So  please block this scammer!

I have received 5 calls from this number. When I call back they ( a recording ) asking for my credit card # it doesn't match one in my system. I checked ALL my credit cards and NONE have that phone number on them.  ! I am reporting the, to BBB.

This number has been calling me but hey I haven't paid my bill.like a month late.

I just answered this number and the man kept saying "Can you help me ma'am? Can you help me? Hello?" Very strange and I heard beeping as well.

Continously calling leaving no messages every day every hour . Want them to stop

This is not legit.  They keep calling me on my google voice number which I have NEVER used or put down on anything (in fact, I hardly remember what the number is).  Don't give them any information.  I chose to block them.

Got a call from this number today for like the 3rd time this year, and they left an automated voicemail, can't remembe what it said, as i immediately erased it, b/c i knew it didn't have anything to do with me, so then i called the number back, and they were trying to collect my credit card number through the automated system, and then wen i put in a fake cc number, they asked for my social, so i finally put in a fake socisal and got to a live person who gave me some crazy name and said that that's who they had at my number, i 'm not sure if it was just a wrong number or a scam, however the automated msg did say it was an attempt to collect a debt, but i dont' have any debts...

I don't want to receive calls from this number.  It is annoying

got a call from this #.  They did not leave a message.

I kept getting calls from them. It's a card company that does the retail store cards, this time was for Old Navy. The fact that they are for different stores doesn't make it a scam guys, that's how the card companies work.  Tried calling but it was after hours, so I went to the website listed in the voicemail. I'm not an idiot, I'm well aware of scam and phishing sites. The website on the voicemail directed me to a general login page. Since I don't have an account I clicked the Contact link at the bottom of the page, which gave me a 24-hour number 1-866-450-5294. Obviously I didn't enter my SSN, just kept pressing "0" or "#" until I got to the operator. I explained that I keep getting calls from them, but that I don't have an account so they must have the wrong number on file. The gal I talked to was very nice and also obviously was working in the US, she said they'd update the info, and she never asked for any of my personal information. In the meantime, I'm blocking both numbers from my phone. Seriously annoying.

This # keeps showing up on my caller ID. When I check voicemail, either I can hear conversations going on in the background or I get my eardrum blasted with loud, obnoxious music. I am on the DNC list.

So did u pay it over the phone call by giving your card details? Bcos I did like that today and I am curious.

This collection co. Is looking for someone named Rodrigues that's not me. I don't have any store cards only my visa which NEVER has a balance at due date... I can not get them to stop calling 3-4-5-7 times a day. 53calls in 2weeks.  Had to use special services to silence them, but they keep calling and I keep logging.  want to report it to Atttorney General in their state,

I think is a scam .... an auto message wants your credit card number and when you don't enter it, it ask for your ss number.  at no point does it let you talk to a person.

Non stop calling.  Don't even owe them anything.   Make it stop.

It is not GE Capital. It is an FBI call tracker.

They called about 3 consecutive times everyday for the last two weeks or so and one answered on the other end. I decided to call the number back today as many posters here had indicated and spoke to the operator (of GE or Citi bank acct?? re: delinquent acct); gave her my phone number and she asked if I know anyone by the name on their account record. I told her no, and she apologized for the inconvenience and will remove the number from their system. Hopefully, the calls will stop now.

This number also is calling my work line, when I answer it states the number and then something about Banana Republic and their mailing address is Utah.

Not a scam. They're probably trying to collect from someone who had your number before you.

This person is correct. This number is of GAP Inc. Credit Services, GAP Holdings' debt collection agency. THIS IS NOT A SCAM. It also does NOT mean that you, specifically, owe GAP any outstanding money. If you really feel as if they're calling you in error, it is possible that GAP could just be trying to reach someone that had your number previously. That was my situation:

I used to receive calls from this number 5 times, daily. They were looking for a couple that had defaulted on their payments and had my phone number before me. In fact, I have been receiving other wrong numbers that were intended for these same people, from other unrelated agencies (which verified for me that this isn't likely a scam). I called them back at 1-888-248-3182 and actually pressed '0' at every input, until an agent answered. The star key may work also; haven't tried...

While they were "unable" to transfer me to any supervisor without me first supplying them with personal information (which I refused to do), I merely asked them to blacklist my number from their outgoing correspondence and explained the situation. Took all of 5 minutes for me actually.

It's going on a week later now, and it seems to have worked. Hope this helps.

This is a scam.  I get a call from them every day.

This call should be reported. They ask for your ss# and yor can't talk to a live person at any time.We are also on the do not call list.

These idiots call anywhere from 5 am to 10 pm.  I do not get a response if I hang on.  I hit a variety of keys (which are suppose to confuse the computer) and then I get  another call and 'they' play some raspy music with voice that is unaudible.  I have tried to block their number but the phone company has not done it. So much for CenturyLink's customer service. Is there any way to stop this.

These people keep calling 3-4X day for past several weeks! No answer when picked up line! Harrassing BS for sure for some product I don't want or need!
