Just rec'd yet another call from MBNA or so they said. Get this? The guy offered to increase my limit by $1500 without any credit check available to me immediately. Musta been a catch if it was MBNA. U know what they say....if its too good to be true......  BTW....I said No so I don't know what the catch was.

Don't give any card info or other details, especially the 3 number security code.  They don't need this to remove you from any list. We don't answer any business calls that does not identify who is calling - we want a business name, not just a number.

Je lui ai demandé de retirer mon numéro de téléphone afin qu'on ne m'appelle plus. En même temps, il m'a retiré de la liste d'envoi postal. Monsieur Serge m'a demandé mon numéro de carte MBNA, date d'expiration, le code de sécurité de 3 chiffres au verso, ma date de naissance, le nom de jeune fille de ma mère. Puis il m'a fait attendre 8 minutes sur la ligne. Il m'a demandé de patienter pour mon dossier à jour. Puis finalement la ligne s'est raccrochée. Histoire à suivre!

I just got a call. Nobody spoke and the line is hung up. I redialed the number 1-613-907-2515. A representative of MBNA (Serge) replied. I asked him to remove my phone number so we do not call me. At the same time, he pulled me to the mailing list. Serge asked my MBNA card number, expiration date, security code 3 digits on the back, my date of birth, maiden name of mother. Then he made ??me wait 8 minutes on the line. He asked me to wait for my case to date. Then finally the line is hung up. Stay tuned!

just got a call on an unlisted cell.  No message, just annoyance.

I am receiving an inordinate number of calls from 613 907 2515. They have on one occasion identified themselves as MBNA, and on line investigation of this number reveals this to be consistently the case. However, having been told once that we were not interested in talking to them, as the account is in good standing, they do continue to call.

Reports at http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/6139072515 shows that many are annoyed, and if this is being done at the behest of MBNA, it is certainly not winning you any warm and fuzzy customer feedback.

In solidarity with other complaints, I too will cancel my card if this persists. Jan 1, 2013.

There are enough b***s*** phone calls that we can do nothing about. The "do not call" list is a farce - you are legally not required to adhere to that code. My "code of the pocketbook" dictates that I am free to dissolve all ties to you, and spread my word freely to all whom I am in contact with.

same here. I set our answering machine to 2 rings, and pick up only people with ID whom I know. Too bad if someone unknown really needs to talk with me. I work from home and have to give out my cell as contact number, and even so, for them to TEXT me. Because my cell receives  some calls for which i have to pay $2 each, even if I do not talk !  Hve been told to text them with the word 'stop'. But until then I already paid $ 14  that month.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past 6 months and they never leave a message.

I, too, called MBNA (Mastercard)and inquired about this number. It is a marketing number (yes, they are trying to sell something!). I requested my number be removed from the 'Marketing List' and the woman at MBNA was very accomodating. She explained that it may take 31 days for the calls to cease as my number cannot be removed from the current campaigns list (outsourcing). She assurred me, however, that it would be removed from their master list and as such, would not be released during any future campaigns, for a period of 3 years.

We've been receiving calls from this f(&#$)g number for ages and just called the number provided by CK and told them that I will call the police if I receive one more call from them. They took our number and name (gave the name that the phone is in) and said our number will remain off their list for 3 years and 31 days (WTF?) and will take about 31 days to be removed.

These A**holes keep calling but don't say anything. Everyone that is affected by these people should contact their phone service provider and whatever company this is and complain

My wife just phoned 1-866-845-0980 and they (MBNA) say that they'll remove us from the calling list.

I am getting very upset with this phone number calling over and over again. I am not a MBNA memeber nor will I ever be one and do not think it is professional to call the amount they call.

oops, I got the time wrong, it would be 11 pm EST, in Toronto, not 10 pm.
Imagine waking someone up there at 11 pm, yeah I'm sure they would want your stinking credit card then!!!!

called twice in last half hour; ILLEGAL according to CRTC regulations as 8 pm EST is 6 pm Saskatchewan and it is 9 pm here now therefore it would be 10 pm in Toronto, 10 pm EST, so is THREE hours after the cutoff!!!
I would like to know why they think they are going to sell their product when they are calling outside the legal limits of the CRTC regulations and getting people this late! if they call again, they will get an earful!  waking me up twice already, I am really ticked off. having to get up at 4:30 am and now I am wide awake.
I do not even have an MBNA card, and they can stuff it.  They can at least call at a decent hour, and not call repeatedly!!!!

I get the ring every day, but the call goes to answer machine. I never answer my phone direct, that is from years on the phone at work. Never tell them any thing and tell them to stop if you do answer. I will put the # on call block

i have had the same thing.. so i called it back and told mbna about it and they took me off the solicitation list.. so do that.

I keep getting calls from this number and other numbers similar to this with different last 4 digits. They never leave messages, there's no caller ID and they are always at odd times of the day.

I got a number of calls some months ago, then peace for a few months and it started over again today. The snag is that the Govmt's No-call list does NOT apply to companies that you do business with. So if you have an MBNA card, you're fair game. My suggestion is: there's a phone number for client service printed on your credit card. Use it, just say "I just got an unwanted call from your telemarketing crew" and hang up. The bad news is, this may be time-consuming while they put you on hold with the ol' "our agents are busy" routine. So better still, by hook or crook, find the extension number for some vice-president and call HIM (or her).

Called at at decent hour at least! Went by my policy of if you don't tell me who you are on my caller ID, I don't answer my phone.

I do have a MBNA credit card and they've started to call me every now and then since last week, even after i clearly stated that i don't need anything more than what i have now. I'm satisfied with my card, nothing to report there, but those call are getting annoying. So i created a profile on my cell so whenever they call, i just open and close my cell without a word and go on about my business. I find it better than having to pay to block a number... no way i'm paying for that... now that i think about it, i may very well open the cell next time and leave it open til THEY get bored :p

Just got a call from this number.  Someone asked for me by name -- said they were MBNA and wanted to know if there was an apartment number where i live.  Before I could answer, they hung up.

My guess is they`re a company contracted to make promo calls for MBNA who get a certain amount just for making contact with people on a list... but they don't bother with the promo; they just take the money for making contact.

I am getting these calls whilst at work, my wife answers and they ask for me by name, and do not leave any message.
