This number is associated with Comenity Bank.  This is the bank for over 100 retail store credit cards.  Here's a list:

That is bogus! I do not own a credit card, my student loans are up to date, & personally closed all of my former utility contracts to make sure they closed with no remaining balance. Maybe if you ran an honest business & identified yourself when calling or leaving a credible return number, people might answer or call back. Too many scams today...so if you're going to act shady people will respond shady! Sometimes people have unpaid bills they are unaware of or their phone number is now attached to an account that is overdue. I got a new phone number from Sprint & was immediately receiving calls from ComEd for an account I never had.

So keep calling people deadbeats & acting like scam artists on a high horse & and maybe you'll make a better commission. Better yet, think about the fact that you make your "non-deadbeat" living by harassing strangers & then pointing your nose at  them for your opinion of their work ethic. As if the majority of people in debt enjoy it.

They call my cell and when I don't answer immediately my home number both no messages

I just discovered that the company behind this phone number is actually the bank in charge of the Pier 1 credit card, which of course I have and owe a bit on. So just in case you have a Pier 1 card they might be calling for a payment due on it. So far that's what I've learned, not sure if they're affiliated with other companies but that's what I know so far. Hope this helps.

I just got a call and I am up to date with all of my bills, therefore not a "deadbeat".  If I knew what CC you cover, that would help me figure out if the call is legitimate or not.

Yeah, it's Comenity(?sp).  Their wardialler was hitting me almost nonstop, and I'd never pick up.  Did pick up once, and all I got was a schpiel, "This is not a sales call, please stay on the line for an important message...", then music-on-hold, and I gave up.

Filed a FCC form 1088G to get them to stop, and the calls did stop a day or so after (coincidence??), but then they started up again recently.

Also finally stuck my # on the do-not-call registry.

I called the number, went through Menu Hell, but finally spoke to a human ("John"), who seemed nice enough and promised the calls would stop.  Mmmmmkay, we'll see.  If not, on to the FCC again...

We do pay our bills, jack***!  It's not my fault your system online has failed twice now to collect a payment when I have set it up using YOUR system on YOUR website.  Fix the issue, moron!

Hey Fernanda, maybe you shouldn't assume these are OUR debits, try working for a Corporation that doesn't have DEBT like these and having to field these calls EACH AND EVERY DAMN DAY! Maybe don't be so quick to judge others, as you might be the deadbeat after all!!

If you are a debt collector, try leaving a message so we know who it is for.

I pay for MY PHONE, this solicitor does not.  I have no debt, therefore, I consider this harassment.

I am getting multiple daily calls. I have impeccable credit ad pay all my bills monthly and on time. I Will not answer.

I have never had a call but I looked up the number for a friend. The reply about deadbeats was very unprofessional. I would have expected a better code of ethics.
