I get this message too. I pick up the phone just to hang up on them. It racks up their phone bill for a connected call, even if you hank up right away.

I sued them they called me so much.I got awarded 4300.00 for harassing calls from a bill collector I did not owe.lmao

Just got a call from them. Same MO - demanded money and being very vague about it.

And they're still around and doing it.  I just got one with an automated script.

I didn't stick around to find out who it was or what they wanted, as I am not Mrs. Nobody.  

Meade & Associates is a well known collection agency and probably at the heart of this.  In addition to medical bills, Sears has used them in the past.

I dont remember the co. name, but it is a debt collection agency. I technically owe the debt. its a 60.00 co-pay from a doctors office. I had a sleep study done and payed a co-pay before it, I didn't know when I arrived for the consultation about the results, they were collecting another co-pay to tell me the details.
I thought this was Bovine discharge, so I didn't pay it. I knew that day when I was there I wasn't going to pay that bogus crap. They spank your insurance co. for a mint, and then want their hands in my pocket too!!! Nah.
Anyways, these guys are relentless. They call me several times a week, this had been going on for almost two years!!!! The FUNNY thing is though, From the first call< I saved the number and labeled it "collector" That way I wouldn't answer it by mistake.  Later on, they called and I answered it because they used a different number its 635-8100, I fondly labeled it "colon-ector".....I get a good chuckle everytime they call. They have spent a ton of time trying to collect 60 bucks from a guy who really dont give a big ratts petutie.lol

I gt a scam frm ths number wanting visa card,social security #,address,dob,...ok if its a medical bill debt why u want all ths info?? I'm yelling scam alert......

Collections Company for Medical bills

They offer no proof (no invoice number or what the supposed bill is for), just a name and date - very vague. Demands credit card over phone for amount. Anyone can pick up a phone, dial a person out of the phone book and say "Hello I'm <random name>. I'm calling to collect a debt on Female/Male <your last name> for <make up amount here>. We can take care of this today with a mastercard or visa." When was the last time you ever saw a bill that was address to Female/Male <your last name>?? THIS SCREAMS SCAM!!!

It's been on my caller ID before. I'm never here to answer (awww).
