Well, i'm getting the call like 8 times a day...so frustrating....i have NEVER had a loan with them or any check cashing place.......but i DID find out, that a "friend" of mine, went for a loan at Checksmart.., and used my name & another friend, as a reference....and so now they are calling us at least 6-8 times a day. I could choke her!!!!

If one is in the process of filing for Bankruptcy, and Check Smart was one of the loans to pay back, just call the STORE you got the original loan and give to them the number of the Lawyer (if you have one) that is helping with Chapter 7 and/or 13, and Check Smart will take the Lawyer's name and number.  Also, once the person has filed and the court sends Check Smart a letter with the case number, it's against the law for Check Smart to call you.  Hope this helps.  Respectfully, Devin

I have never had a loan with check smart in my life...so unfortunately you are incorrect, these A-holes have been calling my number for more than two f-ing months and no matter how many times I call and bi*** they never fix the problem and the phone rings on..............Bill collectors....more like incompetent do***e bags!

Asking for Bobbie and a last name that I did not catch.  Told them they had the wrong number and the guy read me my number back which was correct.  He was talking very fast, thought he was ending the call and I said yes, then he started yelling at me that I just contradicted myself and that I did know this guy.  I told him I had no idea who he was talking about and he kept saying that I already contradicted myself and hung up.  No idea what this call was about and why the person was so rude.

I have received calls from this number for the past week, asking for Marvin Johnson.  This number calls 3-5 times a day, starting around 0800 CT, ending around 2000 CT.  I have asked that they not call back, as I do not know this person and this is not a new phone number.  I have no idea why they continue to call me.  I have asked that they not call back, yet this apparently does not help!

I have received calls from this number and 6147602186. I have put blocks on these two numbers and will continue to do any and all other numbers the same way. I haven't had any contact before with this company.

I have received harassing phone calls from this number 7 days a week all day and night long...I have told them it's not me and they still harass me.  Finally I called back the number and threatened a lawyer and it was immediately taken off....leave messages and don't harass you'll get better results people...

write them a letter addressed to: Checksmart  7001 Post Road  Dublin,OH 43016.  Tell them "Cease and desist from calling this phone number. Then put the phone number they're calling.  Can't guarantee they'll stop calling, but there's a good chance they will stop.

You shouldn't have made arrangements with them. They don't pay the creditor-just put the money in their pocket. Contact your bank right away to check your account for unauthorized transactions. Report them to www.IC3.gov -they are conducting an investigation.

They never stop calling...non stop harassment..even when arrangements have been made.

This call is from a collection agency representing the Insight prepaid Master Card.  I used this card to direct deposit paychecks from a part time job I've had for more than two years.  I haven't had anything direct deposited on it for a few weeks though because I'm on medical leave from the part time job.  Some how I ended up going over the money I had preloaded on my card by $3.20.  They are calling to collect this enormous debt from me.  Which is strange because I just talked to someone from the check cashing store I got the card through the other day and told them I would be in tomorrow to pay the $3.20.  She agreed to this payment arrangement.  By the way, she said they didn't charge me an overdraft fee because the amount was less than $10.00.  I wonder how much the collection agency paid to buy this debt from Insight.  The company is actually losing money by calling me.  What a waste of time, effort and resources.  Someone is asleep at the wheel.

they have called my house, cell and possibly they have called my work asking for an "Alberto" or "Roberto."  so far I have counted 6 calls every night,  I am in the process of hiring a lawyer and filing a lawsuit against check smart for harassment. but first I am sending the company an email to let them know I don't like being repeatedly harassed by a company I have never even heard of.

Call and hang up at my work 5-6 times in a row.  We have at least 75 people who work here and I have no clue who they are calling for.  What a waste of time to keep calling and hanging up, tying up the phone when there are more important things going on.  Why do people give these people their work number?

I receive 4-5 phone calls a day from this number - they never leave a message.  I try to call back and it sounds as if someone answers - the ringing stops - but no one says anything.

This call may be from Checksmart- They like to leave abusive messages in Spanish - LOL - I don't think it matters to them if you can understand Spanish or not!

Yes, this is CHECKSMART.  They are calling you because you bounced a check, OR one of your friends bounced a check and they used your name and number as a reference when they signed up for a payroll advance.  They will start calling your references if they can't get a hold of you the first couple of days after it bounces.
