Got a call from this number...but it wasn't for anything that anyone above has described. It was due to a complaint that I filed through Medicare regarding my relative's prescription coverage. That's another story but basically the person calling from this number was calling back to get the facts about something that happened in her nursing facility.

no mail order calls nobody. pharmacy calls these are scammers looking for dummies to give info or try to scam you with quick talk. do not fall for it google the phone number and it brings you too site like this and you see all the scammed people. do not fall for these people they are from the country of Nigeria. all idiots from that country. they do this to find dum people. they have 100's of phone numbers alway google the number and you keep a list of them. I write all them down. have over 20 numbers.  a idiot with a accent. I just tell him to F-off

OMG what the hell these please are totally crazy they call all week long 2-3 times a day  and make up s***. so sick of them. I have turned off my phone now so I do not hear the phone ringing. changing the phone number is a waste of time because they get it again and again. why do they spend the money to keep making annoying phone calls over and over  the think the more they bug you you will give them money to stop b***s*** a***oles I will not even give you the s*** in my toilet. so F- off you will never get me to answer my phone ever. you want to wasted your time go ahead .  your dead buried people you need to do the same. get caller ID and turn off ringer. I was tired of getting calls at 7:30 am in the morning. police cannot do nothing because they are using pre-paid phones.  not smart just stupid. so waste their money and do not answer or answer and tell them to F_off..... they will get tired of us calling them dirty names.  kinda fun to say to jerks and get it off your chest.

Agreed with  Deb, this is my mail order Rx company, they need to verify who you are and where you live to get the Rx to you. They *may* be calling to get you to move some other Rx's to them... that's called sales... part of business.

This is Accredo Medco's prescription line. They were calling me to schedule delivery of my prescription. They can be called back at  1800-803-2523.  

For "Annoyed" , they are verifying your date of birth in order to confirm who you are before they will speak with you about personal health information.

This number will NOT stop calling - we have had enough of getting woke up by this everyday.

A guy from "Medco", wanted to save money by having my perscriptions mailed.  I said no, and to stop calling.

Received call from 614-761-1557 wanting information on an existing prescription.  When we asked to speak to a supervisor, they weren't available and would call back.

WITHIN 45 MINUTES, WHILE I WAS HAVING DINNER WITH FAMILY, 3 CALLS, NO MESSAGES LEFT. DO NOT HAVE CALLER ID, BUT USED *69, AT MY EXPENSE. VERY ANNOYING!

It apparently is some sub contractor for Medco, the pharma benefits manager.  The caller (a woman) had information about a med I was taking and wanted to "discuss" it with me.  I think the idea was to switch me to a generic.  But before we could have a conversation, she needed my DOB.  I told her "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS."

1) I have been a victim of credit card fraud, so NO WAY am I giving  my DOB top a total stranger on the phone.

2) HOW DARE HER call me at dinner and ask to talk about my medical condition (you would know the condition from the med).  Again, none of her business, or MEDCO's for that matter (they are a pharmacy not an MD).  I mean. how would you like it if someone -- a total stranger -- called you at 8PM and asked about your personal, private medical issues.

3) Medco acknowledges the call, and apologized for the  "inconvenience."  ( I call it a gross breach of privacy).  A superviros will call me tomorrow.

I'm going to start researching HIPA,  -- I think this is right -- The Health Information Privacy Act.  No way should this Medco company be sharing my medical info with some unknown contractor who bothers me during dinner w/o even id'ing themselves on caller id.    Bad manners.  Rude.  Just wrong on so many levels.  And maybe illegal. Also going to call my HR benefits manager.  She should know about this privacy breach.

If you get a call from this #, either ignore, OR answer and tell them that they have no business discussing your medical conditions in an anonymous call.

The call was from Medco RX - they left a message for me

I receive 2-3 calls from Medco daily even though I've repeatedly told them to stop calling and supposedly have spoken to the supervisor about this. They just won't stop. VERY annoying!

It's Medco's specialty pharmacy service, also called Accredo. I demanded, several times, that they quit calling me. Now, they still call, but it automatically hangs up after 1 or 2 rings.
If you any business with them, or your insurer doe, they are exempt from the Do Not Call list.
They may possibly be the most annoying company I've ever dealt with. Horrible service and dishonest to-boot.
