Got a call to my cell March 9th, at 12:20 (I was trying to sleep; I closed at work last night) and googled the number when I woke up entirely, as the area code was unfamiliar.

Is there any reason as to why we all seem to be from Ohio?

person who get info from family member and misuse info to threaten other in their native language. A caller who is spending time on prank call, it just waste of time ,that person should spend more time helping other people who need help in this country or in their own country should visit to church or Guardwara, or temple or maccka , prank call is big sin. caller has no guts to leave real phone number because he is afraid of himself , and null (anpar).

615-563-7978 just called my NJ cell #. No message but if it's a vehicle warranty then it sounds like a scan. I don't even have a car.

caller called my Louisiana cell # and left no message ... loser

I am a lawyer and have been receiving repeated calls to my cell phone about a warranty. The number is 615-563-7978 but, like everyone, else, I am told it is not in service when I return the call. You are entitled to monitary damages if you are called and your number is on do not call list. Also, I asked to speak to manager and was hung up on. It is clearly a scam but I do not know where it is originating from.

Possible solutions:

Contact phone company to find out who is using this number.

Contact FBI to report fishing scam (wire fraud so it's in their court).

I would love for these people to get the justice they deserve.

615-563-7978: Got this call on 3/24 eve 5:45 PM. Heard about them before saying on Auto warranty expiry. Haven't asnwered this time. When called my wireless provider, updated that blocking these telemarketing calls are not possible. A month before the same message came from a different number. One more annoying call list number!

I just got a call and answered it. Then I hit one to talk to someone and it hung up on me...anyone else do this? Just want to make sure that I'm not going to get scammed now because of that. I wanted to talk to someone to find out what it was about...

Missed call...tried to call back, said number was disconnected....I also found it registered to Josh and Connie Cantrell. Scam???? I don't know these ppl....

THEY CALLED ME WHILE I WAS AT WORK AND WHEN I TRIED TO RETURN THEIR CALL, IT WAS A RECORDING THAT THE PHONE WAS DISCONNECTED.. WHO IS THIS

and not only that, if you google wnedy or josh you can find facebook pages and other info....linkln or whatever that network site is. ALSO, shows he works as a system network administrator at lincoln memorial university. interesting.

I received a call from this number on my cell on 3/7 at 2:55pm. No message was left. I live in NY and did not recognize the area code so I did not answer. I just tried calling this number to see who answers and it indicates that this number is no longer in service. Maybe they got the hint...

I have been waiting for an important call of which I do not know the number.  I had a missed call from this number, so I googled it.  I found this, so I am reporting it.  I have an Ohio cell phone.  There was a missed call and no message.

Yhea, they keep calling my cell too !!! but when I try to call them back I get a msg saying that the # is not in service, Darn shame I really did want to go back to my prank calling days.

this number just called me today on my Ohio cell phone. I didn't pick up. Same thing, no message. I googled it too and those people mentioned above came up.

Just got a call on my cell from this number, and I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number.  Glad I didn't pick up.  Like others, I googled the number and it shows Josh & Wendy Cantrell.  I was thinking of doing more research on the number, but I'm content just ignoring it if I see it pop up again.

Funny thing is my car warranty DID expire...but at the end of January..and if I wanted to extend it...I would have...THRU BMW not some phone call!!!!!!

Just got a call about half an hour ago from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer. I'm in Central Ohio as well.

I think it's funny they'd be calling about car warranty -- I don't even own a car!

i actually talked to a person because i answered my phone and she was incredibly rude..you can block their number which i did, i also reported this scam to the local authorities and they said there's nothing they can do, i just hope no one is gullible enough to give them any information

My husband brought up a good point.  Call the OH attorney general to report.
