This is a spoofed number being used by scammers. When you answer and say hello to a robo-dialer, thats what tells the robot that it is a working number, and that it has a live sucker on the line, and your number is then moved to the"sucker"list, once your number is on that list, it stays on FOREVER! Welcome to our little club.Your number will be sold/traded/shared with every other scammer here in the USA and around the world. You can complain/biXch/and moan all you want to the FBI,CIA,NSA,FCC,FTC,OPRAH, and even Hawaii 5-0, but your number will always and forever be on that"sucker list".When they call, consider it a challenge or a sport, mess with them with the goal of wasting as much of their "valuable" time as possible, press 1 to speak to a"representative",then feed them as much B-S as possible, give them goofy/FAKE names, addresses, credit card numbers, toll free customer contact numbers on the back of the card,etc.etc.Since I retired, one of my personal favorites,is,when they ask for the toll free number on the back of the card, give them a VERY kinky toll free sex-chat number,(google for a list of these),then just wait for them to come back on the line.Hilarity ensues, but be prepared for their true evil personalities to emerge, hold the receiver a couple of inches from your ear in case they have an air-horn/whistle.I've been messing with them for about 5 years now and actually look forward to their calls,I usually average about 15-30 minutes per scammer, here's my routine,I pretend to be senile and/or hearing impaired, and make them repeat things 3 or 4 times, but remember, they are trained professional grifters, their ultimate goal is to get your checking acct./credit card/debit card info so they can transfer your money to them.My husband tells me I need a hobby,I tell him I already have one. It's called scamming the scammers.Stay safe out there fellow club members.

If you get a call from this telemarketer, please file a complaint with the FCC and FTC: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. If they receive enough complaints, they'll investigate. In addition, they send information on how to file a lawsuit. If enough of us file and win, that should have an impact. What a great revenge, earning money FROM them! Information on their website says the FCC have shut down several of these scams.

| unhappy with these calls 2013-06-05 16:43:10 Telemarketer |
They called twice yesterday (once on cell phone) and both times I asked to be taken off their list.
Got another call today and asked what company are they with and the woman (Emily) said 'I guess you don't want our services' and hung up on me.
Not enough info to report to BBB.
I am on the no-call list.

Robo call. Credit card services scam. Not your credit card company. Not your bank. They offer high-interest second mortgages to people with high balances.

This place has called my mom repeatedly for the past few years. I took the call and started asking questions, the rep was patient and gave me answers that made me uneasy so I just hung up. I had my mom call her card issuer, and they said "this is NOT them calling". My mom had all her account info changed with a new card. These morons called her again yesterday, but I tole her she just needs to ignore the call and let it go to her machine.

Credit Card Svcs calling. Woman with foreign accent, possibly Caribbean. She could not pronounce my last name and called me Mr. Jackson. That's my first name. Claimed to be from my credit card company but could not tell me which one. Wanted to know if I had more than $3,000 on my card. I told them my credit card company would know that. Then she said she was with credit consolidation service. This is a total scam. She got rude and hung up on me when I told them only crooks call people on the no-call list.

We got the call on our answering machine @ 10:00AM on the MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY! They have called MANY times before over the last 5-6 years. Always a 'PARTIAL' message on the machine or even when you answer yourself.
Other numbers they use are:
616-613-2079
616-613-2092
616-613-2100
616-613-2220
616-613-2225
Not to mention DOZENS of OTHER numbers in different area codes and exchanges, as well.
ALL are SPOOFED (FAKE, to cover up the REAL number) NUMBERS.
Time to send the Navy Seals into JAMAICA, the DOMNICAN REPUBLIC, NIGERIA and other such places, smoke them out and ANNIHILATE these SCUMBAG THIEVES.

I have received multiple calls from 616 613 2225, and this is now a daily activity, and I know no one at that number, nor do I know anyone in Michigan.

I have been on the Do Not Call List for may years. I have even written to them three times in the past three years with complaints. They reply with a letter tap dancing that makes Sammy Davis Jr. look like he had two left feet. Bottom line the Do Not Call List is a total joke like any government sponsored program. Get a phone with call blocking features.

Claims to be Credit Card Svcs offering to reduce your interest rate. It's a scam. They could not tell me what bank they represented or what credit card. They want to know if you have over $10,000 in credit card debt. If you do they offer you a high interest rate second mortgage. If not, they hang up. I offered to come down and talk to them if she'd tell me where they were located. That freaked her out and she hung up. They call back every week but if I answer they hang up immediately.

This number called last night and showed up on the caller ID as "BANK CARD SVCS". Knowing it was a scam, I did not answer. No message was left on my voice mail, further confirming it is in fact a scam.
| LenY 2013-05-14 16:45:25 Unknown |
Robocall: "Final notice to reduce your credit card interest rate". Is there a way to report this spam? I am on the "do not call" list.

Caller I.D. says "Bank Card Services". It's a scam that has been going on for many years now. It is NOT your credit card company calling you. Do not answer and whatever you do, do NOT push any number to be "removed" from their calling list. All this does is absolutely confirm that your number is valid and open you up to more calls from them and other scammers. Besides....the number is more than likely spoofed anyhow~
